08/10/2024 08:48 | Yes, that was a rather good idea from him and a great podcast, he is very impressive. I think we are very lucky to have him as CEO, very knowledgable and clever, really knows what he is doing. On the upcoming budget; i am wondering that it might end up being a damp squib. I think a lot of her proposals will end-up getting watered down and they won't want to scare the markets. I can't believe all these investors selling up in the hope there will be a crash on Oct 30th. I am not personally selling anything and remain firmly committed to staying fully invested both before and after the budget.. | cfro
08/10/2024 08:46 | The serious long-term investor thread Ok here is the long term investor plan; Good luck. *Company updates due this week from both SBTX and Croda* SBTX have signed an agreement with Croda, to use SBTX IP , and in return get a min 10% of sales Croda makes on the new bio Lysate, a brand new , proven by science, invention ( anti ageing skin cream ingredient) , Croda is a £5.8bn FTSE 100 company . It could be an absolute block buster product . 100 TO 1 IN THE STOCK MARKET (BY THOMAS PHELPS) As per the video on YouTube above . To increase ten thousand pounds to one million pounds. : 100/1 Your company, in this case SBTX , has to increase its yearly profits from those today , between 25 and 100 times. over a long period. I agree. Today SBTX requires profits of £1.3M on a PE of 25 to justify its valuation.( £25M market cap.) right now, the shares are based on prospects, not profits made. So , for my example I will start with £1.3M profit . ( even though SBTX is NOT yet in profit ). Thus growth in profits needs to be a min of 25 times that, over time , if the PE stays the same. Profits between £32.5M to £138M per year, are needed for the shares to increase 100 times. These numbers get sharply reduced , if the PE ratio goes up over the period. Let’s use 15 years, on a par with some of the best 100 fold risers on the stock market over the last 25 years. Moving on, with what we know so far, about possible massive earnings from Croda, and SBTX breaking even, after next company purchase, due any day. The cash pouring in is then used for yet more growth. On an assumption Matrixyl 3000, ( today's best seller, owned by Croda ), is phased out, it’s not a green product , and Croda itself increases its own profits. ( Croda is going 90% green by 2030 ). On assumption SBTX gets 15% of Croda Lysate sales, all near net profit, as no costs to SBTX On the assumption that Croda signs up to use the Lysate in other areas ( not just skin care ).. On the assumption Croda takes market share from others. Some sums Matrixyl today £350M sales @15% to SBTX = £52.M ( replaced by the new Lysate ) So over the next 15 years , SBTX could increase 100 fold. Only time will tell. Finally, be warned , all shares have risk , no matter how good the story sounds. | sunshine today

03/10/2024 06:37 | I don't think the budget will be nowhere near as bad as folks on the Internet and twitter think. Loads out there making stuff up, probably because they constantly worry about everything and are all cash, and want everyone else to sell, so they can buy at the bottom after the budget.. | igoe104
03/10/2024 06:34 | Spends his time ducking and diving, going in and out, acting and reacting to events and news, as do most traders.. Trying to prejudge what Ms Reeves will do with IHT in the budget is pure guessing and not investing.. | cfro

01/10/2024 08:05 | ITV's been on my watchlist for ages. This is a really interesting interview with Carolyn whom i thought was impressive. Good subjects touched upon including the potential loss of earning from Mr Starmers stupid proposal to ban junk food ads before 9pm. Estimates it will cost ITV £40m+.
