all of the recent nice trades like the 250,000 on thursday must be "coincidentally" confident of a decent outcome here....I think people keep forgetting that we are in takeover talks and an offer could be presented to shareholders any day....or NOT.....

Speaking of T trades and low morals - I just hope KDD doesn't fall on Monday to 4p as I just closed out my short accounts on that 1 - makes good my losses on CBC which went belly up taking 20k of my shrapnel - I can tell you losing 20K on an unfunded T isn't fun but then again making up the loss with a short felt very good ;)

LSB seems to have tailed off after some decent volumes - imho if anything over 700k changes hands on MON/TUE could be a further spike up - but that's just my chart not a rec

davius,

u reckon it's worth slapping a T25 trade on these in the first week of October leading up to the 31st deadline....could be easy money...

Average here (as already mentioned) 8.88p, average in Woolies, 7.91p.

Have twice as many Woolies shares as LSB though, so happier to see that one just into profit for now.

LSB 7.00-7.42p
WLW 7.95-7.98p

It goes to show how an illiquid share often has a ridiculous spread.

(but then WLW is 10 times the market cap of LSB)

In Woolies but it needs to hit 15p before I am even!! I averaged down on these today...

My expectation when I invested was to see them sell off parts, do a little fundraising and end up with a higher profitable Robinson Way (estimated to be worth £60-£70m). That would mean a 40p share price before dillution, so perhaps 20-30p at todays level assuming they need to raise money via a rights issue.

But of course, there's no way we can really tell what it's worth yet, we'll only have a good indication when the funding is sorted out.

Off topic, Woolies just hit 8p if anyone's in there...

davius,

what are you personally expecting to transpire here....full takeover of the whole biz or selling off some of it?

Someone sounds bitter, lost a packet on Jarvis have we?

Should laugh at the aflicted, but that kind of comment does bring a smirk to my face.

Nope, looking to make a profit, so anything from 10p to 15p will do me just fine. But for now I'll be happy to get to break even and see what transpires as we near the October deadline.

I decided to add with some of the funds released by selling IEC. Brought my average down to 8.88p, hopefully achievable in the near future.
