Heck of a lot of buying today, dozens of 10K purchases all day. I'm surprised that the share price didn't recover a bit more in the afternoon.

Some of the sells might not have been. If you look at the timing the batch that went through at 12:24:24 were all at 8p, as were all of the prior trades. I think we've had a long spate of buying, including another 350K buy a few minutes ago. Someone is building a position or I'll eat my hat...

The sell's are even less "chunky". I think we should all calm down. I actually find it so amusing when people simply panic in situations like these. Go put your money in an ISA.

cyc - selling would not hurt me - but there is more upside here than the present share price indicates - the news has been positive, although concerns on the potential RI have beaten this down imho

dav - lol it would be a b'stard thing if it did, I just cast my mind back to BWE which was a main market listed bridging lender until the same trick was used to take it private.

cn, those aren't PIs, they are all auto trades straight off the order book and all taken over a couple of minutes. A single buyer I'd say.

grlz, this isn't an AIM stock, do they have the authority to go for a placing rather than a rights issue? I didn't think so.

its possible Murtagh has shown his hand by tipping 3% for the Money Group to position itself for a placing - cheaper and quicker than a rights issue and Murtagh could end up with 40/50% @4p

Lots of smaller sells (almost always under 10K) followed by the odd 50K buy (and one 100K). I'd read this as the market makers with buy orders so dropping their bid/offer to encourage some sellers, when they have enough shares they can fulfil the buy orders. Only my interpretation, no advice intended.

LAWSON, VWAP is showing at 7.99p so anything under 8p would be below average for the day. L2 still weak but someone is picking up 50K and 100K chunks between 7.5 and 7.75p whenever they are offered. Bigger players clearly think there's value here and I think longer term we should be ok, but short term is anyones guess.
