nick.....Barclays did buy into LSB not necessarily for a bid it was just an opinion with credit crunch they could include LSB with their small change....ok let this go up on its own merit...........Auction at this point.

Nearly two million traded so far including the trade on PLUS system.......thats what I said last week Barclays could do with diversity.

John - Directors' can't buy at the moment as the AGM update is next week - after the AGM they can

Impairment - As a general rule of thumb it affects the lending side but provides a boom to the likes of RW - realisable value is something we will have to agree to disagree on but distressed debt is were the greater profit is for RW, however it rises impairment charges for the selling originator - a mixed blessing in this case.

imho the overhang - and news on asset sales will drive this up - a spec bid could also come given RW makes £13m profit

However, the artictle probably provides enough momentum to shift any Hermes and Legal and General have got left below the rns declartation values.

Quraishim.For your sake I hope you are right.However the share has shown early morning sparkle over the past number of weeks only to retract when the big boys get their selling boots on.If I held I would sell and wait for the retraction and buy back then.Plenty of 10 - 20% gains can be made that way IMHO

john thanks, at these levels like most think its worth a punt, ofcourse like all other shares which are bombed out there is element of risk.
A million traded on plus system...mostly buys....so something is afoot.
