15/4/2008 13:49 | Now they are below 3% they do not have to announce any further sales. I'm on the board at 5.22p to see if I get hit. | tiltonboy
15/4/2008 13:06 | Tell you what - why doesn't someone on this board go and buy 250k shares and see if we get a couple of 'o' trades appearing. | captain cash
15/4/2008 12:53 | nah they have hit their mark and keeping 3% on the plate imho | grlz
15/4/2008 12:25 | No trades at all meaning no-one is buying off Hermes. This is why I don't trade these sort of stocks. You see the same pattern day after day after day with the big seller slowly being eroded and then suddenly all the buyers dry up for no apparent reason. If I had some balls and could get a decently low margin rate I'd take the whole of Hermes remaining holding off them and then we'd see what happens. Sadly the only ones who'll give me a decent margin rate on this are CMC and there's no way I'd take that sort of size position on this sort of stock with them | captain cash
15/4/2008 11:34 | no large trades listed yet - maybe Hermes are done | grlz
14/4/2008 16:56 | Hermes not got that many left now. Another couple of days before they run out I reckon | captain cash
14/4/2008 16:34 | Yes, there they are with a few more I note....thanks optomistic | barts
14/4/2008 16:27 | BARTS, they could have been traded on 'PLUS' A lot of my trades with TDW have been traded on here. | optomistic
14/4/2008 16:23 | Some nice trades going through but none of my buys have been shown again today....I wonder how many others are not being shown?? | barts
14/4/2008 16:04 | nice 2m purchase today | grlz
14/4/2008 15:37 | The Annual General Meeting will be held at the Hilton Hotel, 303 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 4LQ, on Wednesday 23 April 2008 at 11.00am. | quraishim
14/4/2008 14:17 | prime takeover target....with downturn in property market...debt collection will be bigger business than business banking. | quraishim
14/4/2008 13:52 | I am still watching Barts. This really isn't my sort of trade. I stick the ftse100 mostly where there is plenty of liquidity. I keep thinking about a punt cos the trade looks ace but i'm sure I won't | captain cash
14/4/2008 12:36 | Starting to look good now Captain, especially with Barclays increasing their holding......have you managed to pick any stock up yet or are you still watching? | barts
14/4/2008 12:16 | Difficult to work out precisely but it seems price is starting to tick up as Hermes are reducing down to the level where they know they aren't under pressure to get rid of the remaining shares | captain cash
11/4/2008 17:39 | next week should be interesting.. | grlz
11/4/2008 14:55 | Just guesswork about the trade data, yesterday it looks another 1.6m was sold plus 2.9m so far today - as both could nearly be done the price is starting to tick up slightly | grlz
11/4/2008 11:08 | Two more reductions on the website this morning. Hermes again. | optomistic
11/4/2008 10:58 | volume on book at 5.14 yet the 400k o trade at 5.15 reported as a late sell. I assume therefore it is a buy but more interestingly it doesn't appear to be a matched trade suggesting Hermes haven't soaked it up. Is this snake finally turning into a ladder ? | captain cash
10/4/2008 17:54 | monty - all possible but the plan is to ditch the lending via run off as looks likely with the consumer unit or sales for invoice discounting, mortgage and broking - This leaves the family silver RW - the debt collection business making money hand over fist and probably worth £80m when free. A number of prowlers have in the past come calling at LSB's door wanting to do exactly this sought of chop up but offering a £1 - Management have now accepted the logic of this and are now doing it themselves. Okay not great value for LTs but anyone buying now for 5p.......... its like happy hour in Amsterdam | grlz
10/4/2008 17:16 | monty - just 2 so far - with the AGM coming up (23/4) and news of the sale of SME finance unit which sources quote is at a healthy premium the share price will jump But if you want to short go ahead, I don't rate ur chances though as Hermes&BT have been dumping all week and 5 is the bottom or do you want us to believe the MMs are just helping them out and not scalping them on every trade ;) | grlz
10/4/2008 17:09 | Looks like all the big holders dumping. Small punters picking up the tab and will be mugged. | montyhedge |
