08/5/2012 10:39 | For all of you invested in Logica, I can report some news. Andrew Greed the most unpopular and inept CEO in the IT sector, is subject to a shareholder revolt. The City have no faith in him and the shorters have made fortunes off the backs of the poor old shareholder. Andrew Green has made millions in rewards for failure. In real terms, Mr Green has lost all credibility with shareholders. He and a board full of incapable directors have enriched themselves with millions of pounds, while shareholders have seen their investments fall by 50% or more. Logica is an example of all that stinks with fatcat greed in the UK. An awful man who has left a trail of losses running into the billions. If Andrew Greed and his board aren't fired soon, Logica will be down the tubes. | exlogicalad

06/5/2012 13:50 | You could always get your looses back by investing in another share.......one that goes up?? | a0502162
06/5/2012 12:00 | Well, their BUY rec didn't do much good, down almost 10% in days. With the disaster prone and useless Andrew Green at the top, what chance do the shareholders of Logica stand in getting their losses back. For what Green and his board of tenth raters have been paid, they could have hired Warren Buffett. Logica really is the worst managed IT company of the millenium. Fire Green and the board, the cleaners could run the company better than this lot of overpaid idiots. | jacko07

08/4/2012 18:43 | Its that state owned BT metality written all over. We owes them a living. | hvs
05/4/2012 10:52 | Glad to see myself and Merchant singing of the same song sheet.........eh Rob! | a0502162
04/4/2012 23:59 | Merchant Securities continues to recommend selling shares of business solutions provider Logica following the news that Seamus Keating will be leaving the group as head of its Benelux operations. The broker notes that Benelux had its worst performance ever in 2011 and the company believes that the division should improve to at least break-even this year. "Beyond 2012 we remain sceptical that there is a genuine turnaround underway," said analyst Roger Phillips. Merchant maintains an 85p target. | robwt
04/4/2012 09:47 | Seamus Keating leaves and the share price drops 7%. If Andrew Green had gone with him the share price would probably have risen 20%. Both men are liabilities to Logica and should be on their way, but Green lives on. Rob, you were right, Green dumped shares at a vey convenient time, seems he is dealing with the luxury of insider knowledge. | exlogicalad
02/4/2012 08:40 | Not sure about GREAT chart, it looks like it could be on the way down again to say around 80-85. | a0502162
30/3/2012 08:02 | Great chart here and several director buys here recently. CR | cockneyrebel
26/3/2012 08:05 | Are they sure it wasn't the Mormons paying a visit? | a0502162
25/3/2012 22:17 | I had a pint last week with some old mates from Logica, according to them things are hotting up in the way of business and the mood is bright. They are convinced the share price is well undervalued and IT is in for a big boost in the UK and their European markets. I also picked up that there has been a lot of strange suited and booted foreigners visiting at all sorts of odd times. Someone noted directors looking pleased with themselves. Have they just raised their pay. Cloud cuckoo or the real world, who knows! | exlogicalad
21/3/2012 15:52 | chrisgail...To hold or not to hold that is the question. My Logica friend says Andrew 'Mr Bean' Green has been slapped down by board members who are ready usurpers after his CEO job and the fat cat failure pay. I have it on authority, at long last that useless 'Mr Bean' is on his way out. If that happens and they replace him with something better such as a railway sleeper or a lump of coal, the share price will soar. | robwt
15/3/2012 16:50 | True Chrisgail, but sometimes caution and profit taking run hand in hand.............and lets be honest there are some safer bets out there. | a0502162
15/3/2012 15:33 | AO502162 I agree the market is going up across the board, but, only a few are going up 3, 4, 5%+ per day, and whilst Logica are doing so the wise thing to do is hold. With several thousand trades per day its not just PIs moving the price. It doesn't really matter if its stake-building or just institutions buying a share that they need to hold for tracking reasons the price is going up, and I am enjoying it. Better to sell when it's 5% off the top than 25% before the peak. | chrisgail
14/3/2012 09:19 | You have to look at the market as a whole, or hole depending on your view, and basically the MARKET is recovering from all time lows not just LOG. Which in my view means the good companies will continue to grow as profits increase while the duffers will drop back when reality creeps back in...............tak | a0502162
13/3/2012 22:13 | chrisgail..I agree with you on that. More than one big player could buy Logica if we are seeing the start of a bull market. The rise in the share price from recent all time lows could mean that someone is building a stake. That is the only reason to hold after collecting the dividend, We shall hope. | robwt
13/3/2012 21:32 | peea01 My view on value goes along these lines adjusted EPS 11.3p 2012 should see some up lift lets say 10% giving EPS of 12.4p I feel that Logica should be on 15X earnings giving a fully valued price target of 184p. They say the dividend will be 40% of earnings so a share that still offers 5% yield. So I see Logica as a long-term hold because if they are that badly run a company and robwt says they are someone will come along and take them over to release the value. | chrisgail
13/3/2012 16:20 | I may reading too much into it Rob, but I can't avoid the slight impression that you're not wholly convinced about Andrew Green? ;-) | imastu pidgitaswell
13/3/2012 15:56 | We have been here before many times, if you can bank a profit..do it. This company will decimate you. The company is a disaster, it is led by possibly the most inept CEO in IT. Green created big losses at BT before he won the lottery and got the Logica job. BT are soaring and this turkey has dropped like a stone. Logica will plunge if a bit more negative news comes out. The city have had enough of it, they have no faith in Logica | robwt |
