Oh....sell now..Logica will become a penny share with Mr Bean and his shower of failiures running Logica into the ground. Logica is a company where they reward failure with huge salaries and bonuses with the theft of shareholder funds. Green should be horsewhipped.

RBS are a good advert of giant reward for monumental failure, but Stephen Hestor is a good and capable CEO who is trying to save this bank. It wasn't Hestor who brought the bank down. Sir Fred Goodwin and his cronies whose reckless greed and total lack of acumen brought RBS down and lost billions.

The news from my colleagues at Logica is that Andrew Green, Logica's own Sir Fred Goodwin is looking very much under the weather and so are some of his overpaid cronies. The mood is bleak and the employees are in fear.

Maybe you long term holders might think there is some more bad news to come.

Just heard that the Philip Hampton Chairman of RBS has waived his bonus. It would be something if Andrew Green was to repay all the undeserved money he and his cronies have taken from Logica shareholders. I won't be holding my breath, I have never heard of a mugger ever give the victim their money back to the victims or Logica shareholders in this crime.

Sympathies with your down day and particular sympathies to the employees. Bad day all round - yesterday I put my stake into Diploma and that took the down elevator as well. I'm trying to learn to keep the emotions out but...

As noted, the VectorVest analysis for the company is excellent but they are based on projections rather than what's to come. I'll wait for your friend Mr Green's next statement and come back.

Thanks for taking my comment in the spirit it was intended too.

Down 5p or 7% at 10.30am. Holding Logica overnight is very bad for your nerves. Preliminary results are due next month and Andrew Green is still in 'Mr Bean' mode.

Reports from Logica HQ state 'Green Bean' keeps a low profile arriving in his yellow 1967 mini keeping his many more exotic cars at the mansion he owns courtesy of Logica shareholders. He rolls out of the mini with arms flailing and head nodding and goose steps across the car park like the Minister of Silly Walks. He avoids unhappy very worried employees by taking the service lift to his office. Then for most of the day, he sits at his desk looking puzzled and bewildered while squawking and mumbling incoherently. In fact Andrew Green is perfect example of reward for failure fat cat Britain.

Any more even slightly negative news and he has to go!

I agree with what you say A0502162, there should not be any feeling or sentiment when laying out your money in sharedealings. But reading the post by Rob, I also agree with what he has said which are the facts about mismanagement and big rewards for failure. I worked for Logica until last year and in my opinion they should have made Jim Mckenna the CEO, he would run rings around Andrew Green when it came to running a major IT company.

Just a thought for you. This stock has an excellent rating in Vectorvest, the recent technical analysis is very good and I happily bought 9,965 last week. I've just sold them for a nominal profit primarily because of the negative sentiments here. I'm sorry if you've suffered because of the actions of the CEO or whomever but I'm not sure what such doom and gloom does in helping you to recover losses or increase your profits.

I agree with you, any bad or even slightly negative news and the past weeks gains will be wiped out. Also, will the dividend be cut. Nobody seems to have any faith in Andrew Green or the people running Logica. They have been a disaster and are no better than Fred Goodwin and all the other greed merchants. They have feathered their own nests while destroying shareholder value.

Well putting prejudices aside, the 5,10&20 day M.A are all in the right order and rising. Possibly even broken out and rising. However, so has a lot of the rest of the market that has been hammered recently.
More significantly is that LOG's relative strength and slow sarcastics are showing way over bought, ...................................plus it's Friday tomorrow.................normally, as some one who trades rather than holds for sentimental reasons........I would wait and possibly see what happens on Monday............but with this company I'm not really interested in buying...............'cause if bad news comes out it will bomb before you can get out..........all in my own opinion of course and does not constitute a recommendation in any form what so ever!!

Ni way he will go.

He has done a very good job at managment helping themselves while shareolders
and employees suffer.

We need more of that IN THE CITY. Its what we is very good at.

Andrew Green and the Logica management board must be a very good example of reward for failure in Logica and BT. If Green reports further disasters in the next figures, will he go before there isn't a company anymore.

Of course Green remains in charge. He will not fire himself and he has not got the decency to resign. His little band of yes men will hang on until they wring every last penny of shareholder funds from the company.

They are probably sorting out a special bonus for losing a billion pounds of shareholder funds in record time.

For what it is worth. I can tell you that this lot are despised by the employees who find it disgusting how they have just raided shareholder funds to enrich themselves. People who have been with Logica for years have no faith in what has been downhill since the day Andrew Green was appointed CEO.

Logica needs a takeover and soon. With proper people at the top Logica have some very good people who could make this company a success for a fraction of the money this sorry lot have stolen from shareholders. But as usual the capable proper people were overlooked, the morons appointed Andrew Green and they live to regret it. Green leaves a trail of failure in his wake, yet he remains in charge to destroy the company.

Like many shareholders. I have lost a lot of money in this company and it has caused me a lot of worry. Mr Andrew Green seems incapable of running a company. I agree with the people who call for his resignation or sacking.

All though with my losses which I cannot afford, I should not be laughing. Mr Green does look like Mr Bean and he has a very unfortunate voice like Bean. But as a losing bigtime shareholder I think that Mr Bean would be much better at running Logica. He sure as heck, could not be worse than that lot running it now. Sack em all.
