sel............I have had holdings in this share and many others for that matter. So I guess that qualifies me to be on any thread I wish to be on.

However knowing that the market goes up as well as down I like to be in out as fast as possible. Although I agree it can be safe to hold over a longer time frame.

The point is we all have our own way of investing or trading, although it appears to me that most strategies are based loosely on "lets buy a share and hope it goes up". Well sometimes it don't.

As for pearls of wisdom............I've yet to see one on here............most of what I've read is complete fabrication..........yourself excluded of course.


I must say I think I prefer to see who and know who I correspond with, that way you can really tell if someone is who they want you to believe they are!

Thanks AO - I did note that the LSE had gone down yesterday. In fact there was the usual warning message on the ADVFN web page. I am mildly surprised that you follow this thread but dont hold any Logica shares.

As a matter of interest I hold shares in 8 companies, some doing well and others not so well but I find it very useful to follow the associated threads. Every now and again you come across a pearl of wisdom

Recent announcements from Logica indicate a welcome change in the way that the business is run. A share price of £2 becomes a real possibility.

Another reason Logica will attract fund managers is they are now very close to joining the FTSE 100. Once Logica break 135p and stay there it will only be a matter of time.

The share price has stayed fairly strong through all the recent volatility especially as the UK remains in recession. World markets seem to have paused for a breather, let's hope they commence on upward toward the end of the year.

Logica could be 200p by mid January as fund managers realise how vital to survival IT is now and in the future.

2010 will be a record year for the technology sector. The tech renaissance is about to explode, don't be left behind.

Well for what it's worth and this is meant as a serious comment, I think the price will fall slowly to around 110p. Then rise again to around 120 before falling back below 110p.

It shouldn't be problem providing you trade it carefully.

Now don't anyone get upset.........it's just an observation and my take on it.

As I have been trying to tell you Sherlock, you realy need a good memory and you don't have one.
Everyone knows I don't hold because I told everyone here when I sold, even you!

So yes, it was very obvious, or more pathetic concidering the above.

Not only that, if you sold 25k and haven't bought them back, (if you did your loosing money again), then what the hell are you doing on here?

Don't try and say your holding another half million 'cause that doesn't stack up either..................!!!

I thought you didn't need or want advice, as you have said yourself you've forgotten more than I know.

As I don't hold Logica, I can't sell and I don't intend to buy because it looks to me as if it's still falling.

But then you should know that, oh I forgot, you can't read charts otherwise you would never have thought 130p was on the cards!

You can almost always guarantee that when someone says "hold" you know you should have sold the day before!
