Tygrreg,
who said the following sport ? It is what I said to you in a way about someone having to replace east european immigrants after FOM no longer .

'And I am particularly frustrated that after we took back control of the levers of legal migration, upon leaving the European Union and ended freedom of movement, the ministers at the time made decisions which created a migration system even more liberal and open than the one we had.'

astjgroom.
the brexiteers are too thick to realise they have been brainwashed by the right wing rags they read which are about 75% or more of circulation . It also never crosses their little minds that these rags are owned mainly by NONE DOM billionaires and it is the views of those billionaires . Scruff1 and the brexiteers are afraid to listen to James O'Brien on LBC and would never have the gutS to ring him although he would make them look silly .

Tygarreg,
read the following and try to understand it . It says it all and not just London disadvantaged ! The idiotic response from brexiteers on thiS thread is that we did not get the best brexit but there is no such thing as a GOOD brexit .

John Redwood@johnredwoodHas the Chancellor been told yet that her Non Dom changes may mean less tax from fewer rich people, her VAT rise will mean more cost providing extra state school places, high CGT could mean fewer investments and transactions and new tax on private equity could lose us crucial projects?5:55 am · 12 Oct 2024·

Would have thought that its due to close in the high 60’s pretty soon - if the algo is following the chart trend. Plus the market is not exactly in a wave of optimism, so the recent gains are a bit surprising.

Anyway the lad and his intended are over for a couple o weeks at Xmas (although Oldham Council now refer to it at the 'Holiday' unlike Eid which is Eid - its not even a subtle takeover). We will see if I have to drag him back to the airport in the New Year.

There's an element of UK bashing from those who've left the country which serves to justify their decision to leave imo. I've been on extended trips to Australia on a few occasions Noosa, Sydney & Goldcoast... all very average, nothing to write home about.
