Agreed Freddie, Southgate won't aĺow the lions to play. He's out the same mould as our old E U21's coach Steve Cooper.

Ive not seen any report about this shirt malarkey in the press which seems strange. Are you sure the grandson isnt making it up as an excuse for not having to be seen wearing the shirt of this bunch o wasters? Or maybe the head is as smart as two pins. Great excuse and swerves the kids embarrassment. Brilliant. Needs promoting.

IN VIDEO: RUSSIAN STRIKE TAKES OUT UKRAINIAN M270 MLRS LOADED WITH ATACMS MISSILES

Support SouthFront

The Russian military has reportedly destroyed a Ukrainian M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) loaded with MGM-140 ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles in the Zaporozhye direction.

The MLRS was first detected by a reconnaissance drone near the settlement of Shevchenkovskoye. Quickly after that it was targeted with a Iskander-M tactical quasi-ballistic missile. It is unclear when exactly the strike took place. However, video footage of the attack surfaced online on June 14.

The United Kingdom, Norway, France and Germany supplied at least 16 American-made MLRS and MARS II -the German-made version of the system- to Kiev forces after the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine.

Each MARS II or MLRS launcher can be armed with up to 12 M30/M31 series GMLRS GPS-guided rockets, which have a range of more than 70 kilometers, or two MGM-140 ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles, which have a range from 165 to 300 depending on the version, in two separate pods.

The Iskander-M used to take out the launcher near Shevchenkovskoye has a range of nearly 500 kilometers. It can be armed with different conventional warheads, including a cluster munitions warhead, a fuel–air explosive enhanced-blast warhead, a high-explosive fragmentation warhead, an earth penetrator for bunker busting and an electromagnetic pulse device for anti-radar missions.

The highly-maneuverable missile is guided by a GLONASS-aided inertial navigation system. It can be also equipped with an optical seeker with a digitized scene-mapping area correlator system for terminal guidance.

The Russian military has already destroyed or damaged many of Ukraine’s MLRS and MARS II systems as well as several of around 40 M142 HIMARS -a lighter, wheeled system that fires the same types of projectiles- which were delivered to Ukraine by the United States over the last two years.

This was however the first known time a Ukrainian MLRS loaded with ATACMS missiles was targeted and destroyed by Russian fire.
