?Nigel Farage@Nigel_FarageGreat news. The Metric Martyrs case took 20 years but now we can buy goods in pounds and ounces again, not just Napoleonic measurements. We even get the crown back on pint glasses. Brexit is making us more British

Idiots?

We are not the ones who have sent nurses home when we need them.
We are not the ones kicking our main supplier/customer in the teeth.
We are not the ones limiting the futures and freedom of our youth.
We are not the ones sending haulage drivers home when we need them.
We are not the ones allowing large corporates and plutocrats more control.
We are not the ones forcing super market shelves to go empty.
We are not the ones breaking international trust and integrity.

I could go on and on...

And then you call us idiots!

We don't pay child support to UK workers who have children living I other EU countries & were saving £5b. UK fisher quotas have gone up and will go up further. BLUE Passports, crowns on pint pots. Better selection of international beverages in Wetherspoons....the list is as long as your arm!

Interest rates and credit then. Who cares? Big deal?

I can calculate intrinsic values which haven't change that much with James Fisher of late so it is cheaper. I don't average down for the sake of it like most. ;)

Now go back to your retirement. Haven't you got a cabbage patch to manage or mates to rant on about immigrants with?

The number of times I have heard “I can now buy it cheaper”, as though that alone is a reason on top of previous preference! Sometimes, but other times it presages disaster. It’s only slightly behind the “it’s grossly mispriced” as a reason to add. Er, sometimes, but other times …

You say “forex”. You misundestood - it was interest rates and mainly credit. To the even slightly initiated, it suggests you have no clue what you are talking about. And if not in this instance, why any other?

Monty python scene about the knight who loses his arms and legs and still challenges his opponent to fight reminds me of a remainer on here who loses every argument but still keeps fighting his remain campaign

Actually I was just being kind and perhaps introducing investors to the stock who weren't familiar with the company. Perhaps many here are a little tired of Lloyds? I would be. Your compound return on this one must be really exciting! Care to indulge us on what that is?

A couple of points:

I never claimed to have knowledge on either James Fisher or investing that a "chosen few" might have but what I do have is a better knowledge of investing than most and that would include you.

Second, I'm no crystal ball gazer but James Fisher looks undervalued and its accounting history is v.good. That's it. It is very simple. The fact the stock fell after I brought it to your attention is just happenstance. There is no correlation. Your words suggest there is. If you were good at investing you would appreciate that you build up positions generally - particularly when value doesn't shout at you - and what the share price does over the short term has little reflection on long-term business performance.

As for where you get the 20% from goodness knows. My holding has never been down below 10%. But then I wouldn't mind because I could buy the asset cheaper. That is good investing for you.

Now please shut up and stop pretending you know about investing because you haven't a clue. Stick to your silly little Forex trades.

They're not though are they Merv. The UK is right at the forefront of everything. Sport Culture, popular culture, science fkin everthing....their tears are tears of sorrow and dejection that they can't be part of tge G7's fastest growing country. I wouldn't be at all suprised if the dinghy migrants were actually French/ Dutch or Belgian citizens.
