Lizard - if you believe what you post then why would I be bullish on the UK economy?

Perhaps you could join me rather than your continued support for the orange man. You could not do that because whatever position I take you have to disagree - just slither away into a crevice. Consider hibernating.

Some facts today - The UK composite PMI continued to contract this month where the downturn was driven by the fastest reduction in service sector output for six months. However, manufacturing production expanded at a robust pace. The underperformance of the service economy relative to the manufacturing was the widest in almost 25 years of data collection. Bad numbers but am expecting something positive on Wednesday.

Vaccine news are good to keep share price going up till April and May.. vaccine are more important news for now and the announcement of divi will not have thesame effect as news on it's own..We all know dividends will be restored this year coming BUT I hope the management will be clever enough to not rush to an announcemen before middle of summer, or at least when the share price will be 52 to 54p

"Minnie, I am one of the taxpayers who paid good money to educate your daughter. Show some gratitude, it isn't my fault that she wasn't able to graduate."

What makes you think she has had your money?

Maybe you should be grateful that you have lower tax on your pensions/investments because people like my daughter and I are paying for it now and into the future. :)

I'm not going to waste my time arguing with you on this one. It is a no-brainer. Not only do we maintain world-leading universities by keeping universities open to a world audience, we also maintain a high degree of soft-power.

To think you can create a counter argument by one stupid example is laughable.

Tricky, Abu Hamza is in prison in the USA serving life without parole, so he will die in jail, a bullet in the stem of the brain 50 years ago would have saved the world a lot of bother.

Theresa May tried her best to deport him but the bleeding hearts won, but the yanks eventually got the scumbag. Sad part about the Hamza saga is that he has two wives and about a dozen kids here in the UK being kept by us mugs.

One of his wives was recently living in a house on benefits in West London value £1.5 million, along with half a dozen of his spawn. Disgusting, I just hope Pritti Patel does something.

No wonder they are queing up to get here.

Porto i'm well invested in Lloyd's, have been so for years and underwater so the result is I'm underwater. Was OK with showing a loss but when the divs stopped it became a double hit...looking forward them restarting. I did buy some more at just under 35p.

Lloy has just full filled today the 30% gains over the last 2 - 3 weeks since the Pfizer vaccine news...it was lagging behind...I think a pull back of 10% cannot be ruled out...
