jl5006, I remain of the view that we are in the midst of a very deliberate economic destruction, because none of the actions taken by government make any sense if we really did have a deadly virus on the loose, when we know that vitamin D and hydroxychloroquine are effective preventatives. We also know the aged and obese are vulnerable groups, but instead of putting those groups out of harms way, we mask everybody and shut everyone up, and crash the economy to save 0.2% of the population?

There was a freezing up of the New York repo-market on 17-9-19 due to about half the participating merchant banks being on the brink of insolvency that very night, all requiring credit to keep their positions in a $680 trillion derivatives market open. My guess, there has been the most colossal domino effect that has cascaded right through the system. That's why the FED has been buying up bonds, ETF's and shares on an industrial scale, whilst pumping $ trillions into the banks to keep them solvent.

But don't take my word for it, go to www.wallstreetonparade.com go back to 17th Sept 2019 and do some reading. When creating money on an industrial scale you need a smoke screen to hide it, and exploiting a virus is about the best chance you'll get.

I remember watching the 66 world cup live on a black and white t.v. you had to move the ariel and clout the side of the t.v. to get a picture, they were good days in the sixties. But of course I was a bullet proof kid back then .

Maybe you should reassure your daughter that all the 'old farts' are dying off from Corona, with wave 3 4 and 5 on the way.

I was having a conversation with my daughter yesterday about the future of this country. Her and her friends believe the 'old farts' are holding this country back. I have to say I think they are right, sadly.

John Redwood The U.K. should not surrender our fish or our law making powers. Leave the talks as promised if the EU still doesn't agree a Free Trade Agreement. We trade well with the USA without an Agreement so FTAs are not essential.

One week and counting BREXIT deadline. Let's see Boris has courage to walk away if you can not reach deal or is he going to bow down to mighty EU.
