If you look at the long term header chart the period form Oct 2019 to Jan 2020 looks similar to period between April 2020 to July 2020...god forbid we don't get a water fall now...

No surprise there, the people Sheffield would do anything to save 10 bob on a cab fare, they're a bit like the Scots but more careful with their benefits. I don't like the way UBer drivers loiter around around taxi ranks like parasites, I'd close them down tomorrow & ban I love Corbyn T Shirts from Sheffield City centre & all public sector workers & Doc Martin's from the Sheffield Tap.

I’m not sure that is the case in all of the UK, maybe London. Uber is alive and kicking in Sheffield and I know many drivers have approached the AA with regards to professional cover. The CEO of the AA is ex-Uber executive.

thick n smelly ....aka Boris. hahaha He has hit everything and missed the middle.

His Etonian education helps all he says look intelligent despite being a numskull.

Corona is an ideal excuse to control & deregulate while destroying social structures. The market has no base and money has no real value so gold is going to fly to stupid highs but the black horse will recover eventually.

I agree. Uber is fantastic in the US but a bit of a waste of time here. I think in this country it's subject to much the same regulation as minicabs which makes it rather pointless.

Just been meddling with Uber and come to conclusion better with local taxi firms and their apps. Anything go wrong with Uber is international and complicated. Local easier. Better Made and of UK.

People have the right to challenge law BECAUSE it's not a dictatorship.. ;-)

Too funny. Nailed the twit Sikh.
If it was a dictatorship there'd be no legal challenges.
Why? Because the dictator would have all the challengers arrested and thrown into jail!!!!!!

You're so out of your depth Aljm.

I still think we'll see low to mid 20s soon...

More and more job losses are being announced every day now that furloughing is coming to an end.

"In the past few days, a number of firms have announced UK job cuts:

Aerospace giant Airbus has said it wants to cut 1,700 jobs in the UK, as part of plans to shed 15,000 posts across the whole company
Cutbacks at EasyJet mean nearly 1,300 UK crew members and 727 pilots are at risk of losing their jobs at the airline, unions say
About 600 workers at shirtmaker TM Lewin will lose their jobs as the firm's 66 stores are closed
Royal Mail has said it is to cut 2,000 management jobs"
