No they haven't, sadly. Something to do to fill their empty voids whilst HollyOaks and Love Island aren't filming.

This is all being driven by social media and benefits.

How the hell can normal people afford to travel around the country for the latest demo? Have they nothing better to do with their time??

Sterling is a bad role model for black people.

Mane is a much better one.

I see Boris plans to give 6 grand to everyone who trades in a petrol or diesel car for an electric. On top of paying half the country to be idle. On top of covering every square inch of land he can find with new hospitals.

He's making Gordon Brown look like a model of financial rectitude.

The future is bleak - and probably Blake - but what snowflakes ever heard of him!
Never heard of Wilfrid Owen - never read poetry. WW1 - what was that.

xxxxxy..I have been saying for years that the ECB are crooks and the Euro printing presses work 24/7 every day of every year.

To be fair, they should rename the Euro, the Bundesmark as it is nothing more than German tokens forced on the 27.

Alphorn: If the EU is sound why are they so frightened of UK leaving without a deal. We go our way, they go their way...what's the problem?

IAN BIO6 Jun 2020 5:18PMWe should go further than that. Much further. China has broken an international treaty lodged with the UN. It has calculated that the cost of doing so is acceptable. We must make that cost as high as we can. We should institute a special tax law that all revenue from UK investments that is repatriated to China is subject to confiscatory taxation. That includes the £100bn they stand to receive from their investment in Hinkley Point C. We should withdraw from the agreement to allow them to build a Chinese reactor at Bradwell. We should bar Hauwei from our 5G network and erect major tariffs on all electronic imports from China so they are not competitive with other exporters, especially Taiwan. We should work with the US to eject China from the WTO and if that proves impossible then we should withdraw from the WTO ourselves and form a new trading organisations of like minded nations. The EU would probably stick with China, putting themselves on the wrong side of history. So be it.

Tree Power7 Jun 2020 1:37PMMuch as we should keep faith with our friends in Hong Kong, we should have learnt by now that building mono-cultural enclaves is fraught with unforeseen risks and consequences in the future.Remember the history of Singapore, which was the Chinese city enclave of Malaya.  The Chinese were so industrious and successful that the indolent and venal Malays began to persecute them, increasingly violently.  If we are to welcome these hard-working and moral people, we should spread them widely through society and integrate them into our British culture.  Then we should all learn something from them.Perhaps they might explain that 15% income tax drives prosperity better than the 45-50% entrepreneurs face in Britain today.

Mark Cooper7 Jun 2020 4:32PMNo need to be sneery about Trump. He is dead right about China. I'd love to see a few hundred thousand Hong Kongers with wealth, diligence and skills come to the UK. How about we clear some room be repatriating a similar number of the criminals, benefit scammers and illiterate peasants we have been importing ever since the Blair regime?
