In the white room with black curtains near the station
Black roof country, no gold pavements, tired starlings

Silver horses ran down moonbeams in your dark eyes
Dawnlight smiles on you leaving, my contentment

I'll wait in this place where the sun never shines
Wait in this place where the shadows run from themselves

You said no strings could secure you at the station
Platform ticket, restless diesels, goodbye windows

I walked into such a sad time at the station
As I walked out, felt my own need just beginning

I'll wait in the queue when the trains come back
Lie with you where the shadows run from themselves

At the party she was kindness in the hard crowd
Consolation for the old wound now forgotten

Yellow tigers crouched in jungles in her dark eyes
She's just dressing, goodbye windows, tired starlings

I'll sleep in this place with the lonely crowd
Lie in the dark where the shadows run from themselves

When I am searching for music I search through ITunes and YouTube.

When I find music that I like and want to keep I am old fashioned. I buy the CD and then have a digital copy on Amazon Music and play the CD through a Marantz CD6006 CD Player which has a separate decent DAC for headphones straight into a pair of Philips Fidelio X2HRs.

I don't have any general speakers ATM. My daughter and my GF carry around Bang & Olufsen Beoplay A1s which I find quite impressive for their size.

You?

"Only a few decades ago, a new United Kingdom emerged from the empire. Now, by forcing the breakup of the union, the old — drinking deep the delusions of British nationalism — may make it possible for a new England to emerge from the United Kingdom".
Well what are we going to do?

Well.. people were fed up with the old stile politicians.. by shouting in parliament, ange and hate on the streets, from all of them, didn't do any good for labour. People wanted to see democracy in action and a working programme.Boris is the man!

I'm not discussing politics here until you lot mature a little and start looking at things more objectively.

Happy to discuss other things.

I can't tolerate discussions of ignorance and prejudice.

M2 you can do better than that.. stop supporting losers like Jeremy Corbyn.

If he had any brain at all all he had to do to split the spending in 3 × 5 (15 years plan) and give a straight explanation how his promise would become reality and on top of that, stop spreading hate to the voters and upsetting the ones who creating the major jobs in this country.

I don't mind people being against a Labour government. What I do mind is their views which are based on ignorance and prejudice and nothing else.

No point wasting time here on such political discussions.

Labour program was a 15 years long.. by that time a lot of jobs would have been destroyed, business move out and with them the top 10% riches people of this country leaving us to pay higher taxes. The problem with Labour is they can't plan more than 4 years turm.

Just look at their election programme and the billions they promise day after day. The taxes which do not balance the spending and so on. A bankruptcy labour promise country in a year, guarantee. I don't know under different labour leadership but under this one was a disaster!!

"the last thing he wants is a Labour government, unless he is happy to receive benefits for life."

Evidence to back that theory please rather than just repeating tabloid propaganda.

One could say ISA allowances are benefits.
