Somehow I doubt the EU will halt all trade to and its associated agreement with the UK when we leave with no deal.

However, if you are correct, the EU will have to explain to the remaining 27 why their businesses must lose much of their current trade, why the RoI must find a different route to the UK land bridge and why after all their efforts Calais port can effectively close. Meanwhile, after the expected initial sour -grapes glitch, the UK will enact the trade agreements with the RoW.

Exactly right as usual.

“So called serious journalists on the BBC”? The only serious journalist I have noticed working for the BBC is Andrew Neil. He is fair, honest, middle of the road politically, fairly bright & competent. All the rest are lefty, absurdly pro EU and with very odd beliefs in magic money tree economics, ever higher taxes & regulation also a mad belief in the climate alarmist religion & ‘renewables217;. He seem to be being sidelined now too.

'Anti No Deal centrist Labour MP Ruth Smeeth conceded last night on the BBC’s Westminster Hour that her postbag was “75%” filled with pro-No Deal letters. She still opposes the policy but recognises the strength of feeling outside of London, saying the general public “just desperately want” to deliver Brexit. With Labour’s current policy trajectory, seats like hers will be almost certain to be lost to a more pro-Brexit Tory party…'

The EU took Cameron for what he was: an idiot from Eton.

A different leader with common grounded values with the EU would get far more mileage.

He was like a prostitute visiting a nunnery, or Ivanka at the G20, you just can’t take them seriously or believe their intent has integrity.

Me being wealthy isn’t debatable because it is a fact. Sorry.

Whether you want to believe that or not is entirely up to you. I don’t care.

If believing I’m skint softens your own predicament then carry on!

Alphorn. I said Mrs Merkel was shaking and you post a heart bending criticism that I am unpleasant for pointing out her 'ills'.

I certainly did not coldly take the 'Mick', all I can say to you is, why don't you read the news and you will find that Mrs Merkel is apparantly as fit as a Butcher's dog. She has a right to worry about all those motor cars, it would make anybody shake, after all Brexit is just a piece of Mrs Merkel's troubles.

All this BS from the Tories about carrying out the will of public is a just a lie and pandering to Dad's Army members.

FACT..Among Tory and Labour voters, the older generation voted 'Leave'. Perhaps after seeing and experiencing 45 years of the corruption, the tin pot dictators and endless bureauacracy that is the European Union it was a no brainer.

Europe is a failed experiment Minerve, you say you are wealthy, it's debateable, however there is nothing to stop you emigrating. Take yourself and your pile and go and live in Europe, you won't be missed and the NHS will have one less mental case to worry about.
