Michael Portillo - now there's a proper and decent Great British ex-politician.

Could he return to politics? He's only 65.

Her deal has not changed, it's thesame bad deal. Nothing for UK everything for Brussels.

Guys and girls, this actually does have legs. Really worth reading.

It's the Norway Plus model. Of course, Norway, Iceland and Lichtenstein (mustn't forget them) might not like it, but problems could be ironed out.

Whadya think?

Yes k38, on SKY, DUP have blown her out of the water. She brought back nothing for them from Brussels last night. Who are the people supporting and advising her letting the EU take control of Brexit, must be completely clueless either that or she ignores them. Maggie would have given them all a good handbagging especially that Tusk and walked away yonks ago.

Michael Portillo made a good point on the Andrew Neill show last night.

When Mrs May said "no deal is better than a bad deal," if she had actually meant it; if plans for no deal had been drawn up immediately after the result; almost certainly we'd now be looking at rather a good deal. If the opposition (the EU) knew we were serious, they'd have been forced to negotiate seriously too.

If you would have peace, prepare for war. Exactly the same principle applies here.

Leave, no deal, in a week's time.

If we have a paradoxical 2nd referendum (or 'people's vote' as they prefer to call it, sounds very democratic eh) and if the result is to stay, and if the remoaners suddenly think referenda are just great and the will of the people so obviously must be carried out, then I'd expect we will have a wonderful time in the eu. They'd continually thank us for staying by voting pro-britishly on every issue, and probably cut our budget contributions massively while throwing lots of cash into uk projects and generally treating the uk very positively to thank us for staying.

Not.

22 Mar 2019A priest was stabbed during a morning mass at Saint Joseph's Oratory in Montreal, the city police reported. He was taken to the hospital, while the suspected attacker has been arrested. Catholic churches in France vandalized, set on fire & smeared with excrement. Catholic churches in France are being targeted with arson attacks, vandalism, desecration of holy statues, and the destruction of the Eucharist. The attacks have been happening since the start of the year.
