"No surprises you thinking the liar and mass murderer Blair is a jolly nice chap. i hope one day faces the music for his crimes against humanity,"

Glad to see you have some empathy for others in the ME. Shame you can't extend that to British youth and those British whose lives depend on the EU. Even to polytechnic students who didn't have as privileged upbringing as you had.

:)

Nothing wrong with Starmer, great interview a while back on Radio 4, came across a genuine good guy.

Trouble is the rest of Labour!!!!

Boris is making a right balls up. I know they are tiny to GDP, but he really sold our fishing guys a right pup, another great interview on Radio 4 from Padstow where the small fleet go out to now a 'reduced' 6 mile area, only to see large French, Dutch and Belgium trawlers with massive drag nets scooping up everything going !!!!!!

I meant that Rhys Williams - thought he was your right back. Either my bad memory or his sense of positioning.

Minny, I have a brain which reacts to evidence. It will change according to circumstances. Your surprise is because you think everyone is like you 'Always voted xxx, always will vote xxx. xxx is perfect'

No surprises you thinking the liar and mass murderer Blair is a jolly nice chap. i hope one day faces the music for his crimes against humanity,

Yes, agreed. I do like both Blair and Brown and I did see their arguments in WMD and gold etc.. but it is obvious that both these issues were not dealt with appropriately and they failed to take the public with them on them. Same with Cameron on the EU. However, all three delivered better government than May & Boris by a country mile.

"Although naturally tory, even i'm beginning to like the personalityless Starmer. He's local to us, and rose from a poor beginning to where he is, seemingly on ability. I've never voted labour before, but i'm keeping an open mind - if he provides some sensible leadership with sensible centre policies and distances from the loony left, i may give him a try."

WOW

What were you on last night Pierre?

It has been a long journey for public trust in government - it didn't begin with Boris. The fast part down began with Blair and WMD, continued with Brown and his banning of "boom & bust" and as for Cameron and his referendum which virtually no-one understood the consequences of ....

Mind you, you could say Brown was right - there is no more boom, just bust and bigger bust with the biggest one yet to come.

Roamin-in-the glomin again! If Sturgeon is still in office after her misleading statement about Salmond's groping charge and increases her SNP majority she will call a "Wildcat referendum"

The public's trust in the way the UK is run is breaking down, former Labour prime minister Gordon Brown has warned.

He said Covid-19 had exposed "tensions" between Whitehall and the nations and regions, who were often treated by the centre as if they were "invisible".

Very true Gordon.

GPs are mostly running scared. They have failed to live up to expectation when the time came. Pushing everything onto A&E and front-line staff. Scumbags that you wouldn't want to share a WW2 trench with.

kiwi; moving west? And here was me thinking they were moving east.

Ride the wave ;)

diku; markets tend to weaken before reporting season.

Implying results surprise to the good side? Might be tricky this year. Also compounded by brexit although they wont be in the results yet but I'd expect a few negative outlooks for some operators.

The UK risks becoming a "failed state" unless it makes reforms to the union, former prime minister Gordon Brown has warned.

Mr Brown urged Prime Minister Boris Johnson to consider ideas like replacing the House of Lords with a "senate of the regions" and to review the way the UK is governed.

It comes after The Sunday Times published the results of opinion polls in the four nations of the UK, which found a majority of voters thought Scotland was likely to be independent in the next 10 years.

In Scotland, the poll found that 49% backed independence compared with 44% against – a margin of 52% to 48% if the undecideds are excluded.

Well done for your win yesterday. Man U had a game plan and it worked. I have to say I don't think Jürgen was particularly bothered with the result. He wanted to win but he wasn't going to go all out to get the result. The fact he didn't complain to the ref on the foul outside the box that led to your third told you everything. Not particularly convinced it was a foul but it doesn't bother me. Priority is getting back on top of the league and that starts with Tottenham on Thursday.

Good luck vs West Ham.
