Worth a reminder for some posters that it is the UK leaving the trading bloc - not the EU27 who is leaving.

I still expect some 'skinny' deal; a new meeting date has been pencilled in for 28/12 so it could really go to the wire. GBP continues to be supported and climb. (Bullish GBP positions all remain open).

A skinny deal also supportive to Lloy and bullish positions in the Ords plus Pref holding also remain.

Lombard: Investors should fear the fantastical float valuation of veterinary services company IVC Evidensia. If IVC arrives on the market anywhere close to its mooted valuation, investors are being served a dog’s dinner.

Do we ever get anything else from today's IPOs?

General Motors plans to launch 30 all-electric models worldwide by 2025 at “all price points”, the company said on Thursday. GM plans to invest $27bn in electric vehicles by 2025, up from the $20bn it announced in March. It is also accelerating the rollout of existing electric models, including the GMC Hummer and Cadillac Lyriq. Unlike rivals Ford or Toyota, GM is not pursuing intermediary technologies such as hybrid or plug-in hybrid vehicles. - FT

It's going to get more interesting for Tesla shareholders and fun to watch for those that know better.

READ: Lloyds and its banking rivals have plenty of capital but will dividends return soon?

Some of the big lenders in the UK, along with peers in Spain, Holland and France, are trading even bigger P/E discounts.

“This reflects uncertainty about their ability to generate earnings amid the COVID-19 crisis, and their ability to pay dividends on those earnings,” analysts at the Swiss bank said in a note to clients on Tuesday.

If a successful vaccine comes to market and leads to a normalisation of asset quality and to dividend payouts, the analysts said Lloyds had the biggest potential re-rating upside based on normalised P/E.

The Bank of England, along with other European regulators, will provide an update on their dividend bans in December.

I don't trust Johnson. He's desperate and full of "new plans" for the UK but NEVER links his speeches to ....A fresh start for the United Kingdom come 1st January 2021 as a SOVERIGN NATION, free from unwarranted INTERFERENCE, free to make our own LAWS, free to fish in our own WATERS, free from a establishment who seek to use the people of the UNITED KINGDOM as a dumping ground for EU27 bloc over production.

Our great British Farmers could get back to over producing and export instead of tied to EU quota to milk cows, EU quota to produce potatoes, grain, set aside land not to produce food. British livestock sheds are empty !! The dairy industry is in tatters at the expense of grants going to Germany and Poland.

Get grip Johnson....you are not slithering away and playing the electorate anymore.
Put your toy London buses away and man up to the job !!!

LEAVE ....WTO rules

Even Lagarde is pushing for "livelihoods" to be targeted in Europe.

The Great and the Good have realised that if they dont do something soon they themselves will be on the wrong end of class action law suits .

and GS has told them to put the economy back as it was

Nothing whatever to do with a vaccine.

All very bullish for LLoyds the best positioned stock in the FTSE for a spectacular UK recovery.

Still taking Chloroquinine LB? How is the GS conspiracy theory coming along that you espouse? And your neighbour who changes from a doctor/banker/lawyer/UFO pilot everytime you seem to want to backup your crackpot theories.

Show us the evidence of mass fraud. There simply isn't any. And before you look at the russian funded zero hedge with its anonymous authors or youtube, try looking up the theory to see if its already been debunked. Probably better than sitting at home, searching for evidence to back up your delusions and raise your blood pressure.

"So the right telling remainers to accept the vote but not accepting that Trump lost is not hypocrisy?"

Time since Brexit vote? 4.5years.
Any ballot/voting fraud?

Time since US election - 2 weeks.
Plenty of evidence of ballot fraud and dodgy activities.

Not surprised you cant see the difference.

Only hypocrites round here are those who spent 4.5 years denying and refusing to accept the Brexit vote(and the GE17 vote, and the European Elections in 2019, and the GE19) but think the US election should be respected straight away, regardless of the fraudulently voting!!!
