29/7/2020 22:21 | Cobourg, I accept your response, bear in mind however that I at no point used the kind of concrete language in my posts that you criticised, those in fact came from somewhere deep inside yourself. Gaps are a tiny part of any story, but to be aware of them can increase profit and reduce loss. Ask Whites on TLW. He'll tel you that I'm wrong, that he's right and that the hundreds of thousands he lost in days was absolutely unavoidable. These are just things to be aware of. I still believe we'll have a dip in share price tomorrow. If it closes the gap to 25.9 or so (memory) I'll start to get interested. | stupmy
29/7/2020 22:12 | ======== LLOY and Banks and Markets and GOLD ======= If you look back buywell has said 20p for a few months now Several months back when LLOY was circa 60p to 68p and they were carrying on a large buyback program of many Billions of pounds using shareholders monies . buywell was critical of that program and predicted 30p would come when it stopped. This is now the case with FED stimulus in the USA They have created a monster market in the face of a Covid-19 pandemic. A monster which must be fed ever bigger meals to keep it alive as it grows. Another $ 2 Trillion now hangs in the balance ( days) to add to the $7 Trillion already spent/agreed . The $ has tanked nearly 9% in the face of such FED actions and GOLD has surged to Historical highs. Another $2 Trillion should IMO tank the $ another several per cent and send POG higher still IMO. Will investors now increasingly leave the main markets and invest in precious metals ? IMO some have done so already and it has been FED stimulus that has been sending Main markets and POG higher at the same time . This is not the usual case IMO so we have a disconnect situation indicating the markets are in a stressed / bubble state. All IMO dyor see BUY thread for more | buywell3

29/7/2020 21:41 | cobourg, Just read your post. My comments to Stumpy were most definitely NOT based on gap filling - it has little to recommend it, IMO, in terms of TA. I was simply applying routine TA based on support levels, looking back to previous lows, this year and in 2012 and 2011. I wouldn't be seen dead dressed as a gap filler! No problem. | polar fox
29/7/2020 19:59 | Now off for a late big slap-up dinner. YUM! | minerve 2
29/7/2020 19:56 | Sorry The act enacted or not - just ignored - why because it has no basis and engenders nothing but ill will. The end product will be another 5 million unemployed or indeed many more. Dont expect LLoy bank to help u out. Why couldnt the ppl ic realise this severer threat to to crippled ppl was not a real threat to most of the uk and those dealt with it and got on. WOW - why does infection cause so much concern - Chlamydia a concern but not reported each day. I do not trust any agency - just playing their game | jl5006
29/7/2020 19:49 | Stupmy - I admit that on re-reading my post it was too strong and I apologise. My only slight excuse is that at the time I was feeling very irritated by the share price performance today, suspecting manipulation so that someone could pick up cheap shares whilst sentiment is against Lloyds. Seeing you and polar fox talking about 25/26p on the basis of gap filling made me see red, catching me at a bad moment. However my views on using gaps as a predictive tool remain unchanged. I have apologised so the matter is closed I hope. | cobourg1

29/7/2020 18:35 | Cobourg, I'm guessing you find it difficult to take on a different view to your own. I'm guesing that makes you decision making process more stressful. Instead of being rude, you could of course ignore it (unless you're an uncertain type who struggles with making decisions). Or even better, put me on ignore. I did a quick check on your previous posts and for most part they seem to be positive. But my hope had been that most were similar to the response you gave to my post. That wasn't the case. | stupmy
29/7/2020 18:19 | After the Barclays results expect LLOY to be similar. Wishful thinking if you think any different. | gnik

29/7/2020 17:54 | Well, I guess there might be a silver lining to COVID second-wave. It might put some of you lot out of your insular misery. You have no decent legacy so you may as well die now. It is too late to make it better. Your generation will not be remembered fondly at all. You will be remembered as a bunch of self-serving, selfish, ignorant greedy old bigots who stole the futures of millions. | minerve 2 |
