Interesting that the board have agreed not to take their bonuses for this year!!!
Given that they are clearly going to have a much worse year than last year....was the bonus policy going to award them anything for this year.

#358 was a bit of a clue.

Losses on loans and other credit arrangements will go on for many months yet.

"He’s done this business no favours and only enriched himself"

Just about describes ALL Company directors, they're the ONLY ones that Constantly make huge amounts of money out of the Companies we invest in.

"UnHinged 30 Apr '20 - 08:53 - 9396

Pathetic company - no dividends until end 2020. Like they should have thought twice about buying back shares in the first place at ridiculous prices that way they’d have the capital to serve the needs of their customers
in these difficult times. Time for this CEO to go. He’s done this business no favours and only enriched himself"

-----------

Absolutely 100% agree. The 'buybacks' at 60p were insane. CEO should apologise for that. There is never any mention of the interests of the shareholders. They are considered by the board to be the least important party despite owning the business ! Shareholders have lost control here to a board and government that treat the business like their own charitable plaything....

Not sure anyone listens to you buywell any more as you are a perma bear ....I expect if Lloyds bank discovered a vault of gold in their back yard you would still find a reason to be negative....

They have simply provided the quarters profit against future losses to go with existing provisions other wise they would be shelling off the same profit as for last year.....

I would suggest the results are sensational considering the circumstances of the first three months............

Plus the government is guaranteeing the loans and Lloyds can take the income.....

Bit like Ithica when they had their oil hedged and everyone said it was worthless......ended up going up 4 or 5 times before the mindless masses woke up........

A bank that can make guaranteed loans and take all the interest...

Marvelous
