17/5/2004 17:32 | He may not need excuses next year RB but I take your point. | abix47
17/5/2004 17:31 | Snowy You do keep trying and good luck to you. May your delusions be short ones. Any news on this Thai dosh? | abix47
17/5/2004 17:27 | lol point being expectations are so bleedin high these days even with the best and most expensive players in the world doesn't gaurantee you a trophy Real fans expected the world this season and got nothing, Pool fans expected a challenge to the title runners and got nothing and were lucky to get 4th but it may be the break needed to re-start the club Manc fans expected the title and got a distant 3rd, OK you may lift an FA Cup against lowly Millwall but its scant consolation for the richest club in the world. A trophy that your very own captain rubbished just a couple of seasons ago, does he deserve to lift it? I think not. 4 Pool players in Euro 2004, that's GH's excuses sorted for the start of next season then ;) | rb5
17/5/2004 17:18 | rb5......is that a 'pool 4th',better?..howlie | stucom
17/5/2004 17:11 | things could be worse you could support Real Madrid looks like they'll only get 3rd !! work that one out. | rb5
17/5/2004 15:21 | Alan Hanson wrote an article for the Telegraph; www.telegraph.co.uk You may have to register to read it - the last paragraphs are; We are told that the side are improving, but they are not. There are major problems and a serious challenge for the Champions League seems a long way off. When Liverpool played Charlton on Easter Monday you could still easily buy tickets on the day - that's not the Liverpool that I knew, where a ticket on match day was unobtainable. In the boardroom I have serious doubts about whether Morgan and Moores could work together. I know both men, and I know that their passion for Liverpool burns as bright as any other supporter, but I feel that it will have to be a choice. Now, more than ever, Anfield needs a board ready to make difficult decisions. This season, you will have recognised that Liverpool are reaching a crossroads just from sitting in the stands and watching the supporters. A lot of them are close to turning against the management. The consensus is that, by the standards of the club, this season has been a failure. The next one will have to be different. | the diviner
17/5/2004 13:47 | Aye RB It's understandable why Ged stuck with him so long when he can play that well. He was pretty good against Blackburn as well. Were they in with a bid perhaps? Pom You may have been on holiday when I came out of the closet with the admission of my past affection for Everton. I was very young and foolish at the time though as proven by the perm. | abix47
17/5/2004 13:40 | In a blue movie? Or did you have a perm when you supported a blue team? You deserve to be well hung for that!!! :) | pomme de terre
17/5/2004 13:36 | LOL! I did have a perm once. Around the time I was a blue. | abix47
17/5/2004 12:43 | I can see Stu being a liverpool fan next season if his PERM gets any bigger!!! | pomme de terre
17/5/2004 12:29 | I think he's exceeded his limit!!! Pints and teams!!! I spose he'll be adding the USA to his list of teams for the Olympic basket ball!!! | pomme de terre |
