We've discussed your dour pessimism before and my support and critisms (of which I have many) for Houllier.

With my 'Whats to celebrate coming 4th?' attitude, I've just mellowed for a while and spent a couple of minutes contemplating what it's like for Toonies; they can't even get make it that high, and their manager is madder than ours (Bowyer, Bumble - for fehucks sake man), then a blue nose piped up in the office - they're having a 'Battle of the Bums' with Ciddie this weekend...... now that's real failure for you.
Abix, why give GH 'til xmas? Like the man said, he's six years into a five year plan, we look like FC Clueless, and are lower than when he started....... certain players only pulled their weight when threatened with the sack - that lack of motivational skills falls squarely at managements feet. They can do it, but only when threatened! Not a good way to run anything.

He's going nowhere. He can't be expected to win every game single handed but his form has gone from strength to strength since he was made captain.

I'm not interested in history. I'm interested in current and future form. The mancs are still living on a flukey first half of the season (papering over cracks) and you'll probably live on this season if all does not go well early next year.

We've definately turned a corner.

Whether it's in to a blind alley or on to an open road is a delicious treat of anticipation.
