Post year end
· Significant increased demand as a result of COVID-19 with 195 monitors sold to date, predominantly to the UK market, compared with 219 monitors sold in the whole of FY20
· Board expects that sales in the three months ending 30 April 2020 will significantly exceed total sales of £3.5m achieved in H1 FY20

Matt Sassone, Chief Executive Officer, commented: "The recently closed financial year was one of strong growth, during which we continued to build our installed base of monitors and associated recurring revenues.
"I am incredibly proud of how the team has responded to the COVID-19 outbreak. Their determination to help those affected and support the frontline healthcare workers has been outstanding.

"The biggest threat from COVID-19 is the danger of severe respiratory illness resulting in admission to intensive care. We have seen around the world that in those acute cases where patients do not respond quickly to ventilatory treatment in intensive care, many develop sepsis which can lead to multiple organ failure and ultimately death.

"Although no clinical studies have been conducted involving patients with COVID-19, clinical studies have demonstrated that the use of LiDCO's technology in the treatment of sepsis significantly improves outcomes and reduces mortality1.

"Given the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen a significant uplift in sales to the UK, Europe and China as intensivists aim to give the best possible care to affected patients. This comes after a strong year of growth in FY20, when we continued to build our base of recurring revenues."

Nobbygnome,

Deltex has consistently lost sales; lost significant UK market share; has net debt and yet currently trades at a premium revenue multiple to Lidco, which is growing sales, growing market share and has a strong net cash position. And that's before we even discuss Lidco's strong current trading outlook...

Where is your logic and why are you so obsessed with bashing LID and promoting DEMG?

buywell said weeks ago that CPAP NIV was the way to go

Others are belatedly playing catch-up

Strange there is no comment from buywell this morning. Usually we wake up to his pearls of wisdom on this thread.... Perhaps he has seen the light and sold LID to buy DEMG. You know it makes sense....

No idea but anyone referring to themselves in 3rd person needs to have a long hard look at themselves.

It appears that despite buywell's libellous campaign against DEMG the market is beginning to realise the value of the company whilst overvalued LID drops like a stone. Turner Pope are speculating that DEMG are a takeover target because of their novel superior technology. Meanwhile also ran LID with the same technology as everyone else stands no chance IMHO. Mark my words, Edwards will make a bid for DEMG in the not too distant future....

Just IMHO of course and DYOR....

OK back to seriousness. Couldn't agree more. DEMG looks a better buy than Lidco in my opinion. I hold DEMG not Lidco.
DYOR no advice intended

Nobbygnome says that buywell (aka amt) is a complete and utter pretentious part!

Oh and look despite your best efforts DEMG is strongly up after the results. It must all be very annoying for you. However, the reality is LID are overvalued and DEMG are undervalued IMHO so the obvious trade is to sell LID and buy DEMG....DYOR and no investment advice intended.

Nobbygnome. Buywell says that amt it taking the Micky. amt agrees.

And the DEMG results show that the difference in valuation compared to LID is ridiculous. It would seem logical to me to sell LID to buy DEMG to get the value but DYOR and no investment advice intended.
