13/5/2017 00:29 | From Vmax Fri 19:52 -------------------- simplematter is that Koots does not have to be here and yet he chose to be here after 5 weeks of DD, that alone tells me that the future is bright. His reputation is outstanding and he would not put that on the line for money as he does not require it. He has stated that he sees production growth from a twist here and there on what we have instead of just throwing money at new drills and I like that. He likes the assets and is already thinking of new assets. | nexus7
13/5/2017 00:26 | From JR710 Fri 19:26 -------------------- What a week that was !!!! Most of us weren’t expecting that, but a select few were. What was, was?, legacy yes – but it is said you need to know the past so as not to repeat its errors. NR sacrificed shareholder value to fund the company, but he kept it going, as a CEO that’s his job, I aren’t saluting him and chased the facts down hard recently. What is, Is – we have a new beginning, and renewed hope ! What’s in the future, hopefully success and shareholder value driven profit. Do I initially like the look of Leo & his team, yes. Do I fully understand what Leo meant when he said, accreted investment instead of dilution. Looked it up and sort of understand it but it doesn’t rule anything in or out as I see it. Have to wait and see. What is 'Accretive' Accretive is the process of accretion, which is growth or increase by gradual addition, in finance and general nomenclature. An acquisition is considered accretive if it adds to the item's value or corporation’s earnings per share. In corporate finance, accretive acquisitions of assets or businesses add more value than the cost of the acquisition, either immediately or over time. Marker in the sand, based on current outputs without any allowances for additional depletion at Goudron this year, with wti staying put at current levels and with no new incremental barrels, then allowing for Spain lost revenue, I calculate that 2017 revenue would have dropped to £3,513k from £ 4,545k in 16. So lets see what Stuart – Leo & the team can do. Live long & prosper- Columbus, feeling blue gla JR | nexus7
12/5/2017 16:13 | In Fight Against U.S. Shale Oil, OPEC Risks Lower for Longer → Saudi Arabia signals curbs will be rolled into next year → Oil market attention shifts to potential oversupply in 2018 When Khalid Al-Falih arrived at Davos in late January, the Saudi oil minister was exultant. The output cuts he’d painstakingly arranged with fellow OPEC states and Russia were working so well, he said, they could probably be phased out by June... | nexus7
12/5/2017 16:06 | From LGO-fan Today 15:53 -------------------- RE: LGO That's only half the story: he made reckless investment decisions and was too much a geologist and not enough of a businessman. Yes, he kept LGO afloat, but only after he almost sunk the ship. Let's not forget that the POO started tanking around September/October of 2013 if I recall correctly, so NR had plenty of opportunity to stop/change the investment strategy in Goudron. In stead he continued with the C-sands and did not alter his investment strategy despite the facts that the POO went south day after day, month after month. Ultimately a CEO is in charge and therefore he/she is ultimately accountable. | nexus7

12/5/2017 08:49 | jcg, thank you for the stocktube video. I noticed that when Leo mentioned 'getting our act together' he was immediately asked if this involved raising funds. He appeared to partly evade the answer by saying that we would look for 'lower cost opportunities to grow the business.' It is good that he is looking to reduce costs and how this pans out, we will have to wait and see. I liked the comment about exponential growth in years two and three and also about looking further across South America. A refreshing change as far as I am concerned. | the guardian
12/5/2017 08:04 | Ha ha That's ridiculous . Oh well. | warrenfingerfood
