09/5/2017 18:40 | Brasso HL shows only 26 million shares all day and apart from one trade at £40k all are under £20k and a mix of buyers and sellers. When a penny share is tipped to be a ten bagger there is often a disproportionate scramble to buy. The sellers will no doubt be those who got caught on the last big fall seeking to exit. Tomorrow will tell the real story good bad or ugly. | nervousnovice
09/5/2017 18:17 | 30 million shares traded in 2 hours smells a bit fishy. | brasso3

09/5/2017 14:55 | recommended again by Hotstocks ahead of the meeting. VSA has been hinting at positive news to be forthcoming at the meeting tomorrow. Given that VSA had a forecast of 22p on this share they may have known something for a while. Hope its good news the rise has put me back in the black. | nervousnovice

08/5/2017 14:00 | Saudi Arabia Says Oil Curbs Could Extend Beyond End of 2017 → Producer group determined to reach goal of reducing stockpiles → U.S. shale output has slowed impact of OPEC’s production curbs -------------------- Saudi Arabia and Russia Signal Oil-Cuts Extension Into 2018 → Prolonging cuts will speed up rebalancing of market: Novak → Saudi Minister Al-Falih confident of agreement to extend | nexus7
07/5/2017 01:55 | From Garnhiem. Sat 21:44 -------------------- RE: Ross Realistically, I don't know how Ritson will play it.. find out Wednesday tho! Strategically the Company remains focussed on Trinidad, which represents the majority of near-term activity and significant long-term growth potential within existing assets. The Company holds interests in three producing oil fields; Goudron, Icacos and Bonasse, and in a number of private petroleum leases where production has yet to be established. Trinidad, with its long history of oil and gas operations and the significant remaining potential identified by the Trinidadian authorities and major international companies such as BP, Shell and BHP, continues to offer attractive investment opportunities. To date onshore Trinidad has produced over 3 billion barrels of oil and is estimated to contain a further 1 to 3 billion in new exploration and secondary recovery from known accumulations. A mature and competitive service sector supports further development where the key missing ingredient for growth is new investment. The Company has assessed the potential for profitable growth within its existing assets, and in additional assets that would be acquired through third-party arrangements or directly from the Trinidad and Tobago government, and re-affirmed at its General Meeting held on 7 March 2017 that its investment strategy will remain Trinidad-focussed. | nexus7
05/5/2017 18:31 | Don't think you're far wrong hmf, LGO are a serial cash call chaser, they continually have to raise money to achieve sufficient income to basically stand still. It's been a sad and desperate struggle, stacks of genuine investors have passed through their books over the past few years and understandably given up. Next Wednesday's strategy review MUST produce a compelling case for fresh confidence and serve to attract new investment. Maybe we'll read of a JVP but either way would love to see Ritson stepping down, heading up Tech/Ops and a fresh industry name taking over as overall leader. Now that would light the fuse to recovery, and new investment. | carpadium
05/5/2017 17:17 | Pants in the pipeline....a market capital of around £10m and falling, oil price below $50, cost of sales equal to revenue even if production was to double, £5m annual admin costs with any reductions in 2017 used to pay additional cost of cpr & spanish bid, etc., $0.5m cost per well drilled with a target of 10, several million dollars for waterflood plus bonasse adventures and some kind of joint venture with third party! The board say all of the above "...subject to funding." Lind funding is insufficient and will be used "...to support the Company's ongoing operations and growth options." Strategic review highly expected to raise capital through paper shares, to dilute the fresh crop of shareholders and to continue battering any perennial flowers. The board of LGO Energy are all infallible and not immune to acts of stupidity! Predictions for year end share issue and market cap.....? My prediction is 2.5 billion and £10m. | howmanyfools
05/5/2017 16:08 | Oil Steadies After Slump to Five-Month Low as Shale Subdues OPEC → U.S. crude output rises in longest run of gains since 2012 → Oil market volatility climbs to highest level since December Oil steadied after tumbling to the lowest level since before OPEC reached an output-reduction deal as U.S. shale confounds the producer group’s attempts to prop up prices... | nexus7
05/5/2017 15:17 | LGO envisages an integrated approach to exploration across the peninsula. Geological and geophysical studies will be combined with data from existing wells in Trinidad and Venezuela. Exploration drilling could be undertaken in 2013 and is expected to involve at least one well to a depth of at least 10,000 feet.////// This was never drilled and LGO wasn't as skint as it is now! | 12bn |
