RE: Bang for buck.

There were 75 wells that were cleaned out or reworked and they gave an average of 5 bopd , 12 of those wells were reperforated at the time and they gave 20 bopd on average .

Now if 12 wells gave an average of 15 bopd more through reperforations then you can work out what reperforations will do to the rest.

LK did say he has identified 15 different ways to up production at low cost and I am just putting out there one of a possible such way.

I have seen stuff about the 15 C sand wells but only 14 were successfully drilled so its not that, it might be EOR as NR wanted 2 injector wells with 5 or 6 production wells and everything that I have ever read on EOR says the opposite as you get up (a little less) than you put down so 2 into 5 ? Not a clue how much water can be pumped down but even the sweep area is compromised with 2 injectors.
Not to worry though as we have the EOR expert flying out today to spend a month there.

Koots has inherited a massive amount of data and infrastructure on Gourdron and is taking a more business like approach instead of a politicians approach .

We all know or should know that light api oil is oil that rises to the top of a greater deposit and that always played on my mind as to why it was there , @ 38api it is at the top of the deposit and it just never happened to be there as it had to come from somewhere . I am thinking that the ARK survey must surely pin point this reservoir and like any football team , a change of management can work wonders with a change of direction on the playing field. Chesh should resign and go for the Goggaburn bottlewashers FC tea ladies job. IMO.

Oncer - interesting idea you floated in your post of 14/05/2017 @10:17 - I don't think Jeremy Corbyn will be inviting you to advise him on Social Policy after seeing how bullish you are on reducing Trinidad Government take from IPSC.

As you know I'm as keen as the next man to see LGO progress but I doubt there is mileage in your idea particularly in view of the kicking and screaming done to get the last improvement which pushed the netback to around $30 per barrel @WTI of just under $50 ON INCREMENTAL BARRELS - if your idea was implemented as well LGO would really fly!

Making a wedge is a bit of a given over the next 2-3 months. Andrew Monk's 10 bagger is going to require to real delivery after that so we will all wait and see.

Cheers

A previous presentation indicated 77 wells were producing in Goudron.

15 opportunities across 3 assets, as suggested by LK, it will be a number of different optimizations from variable pump rate controllers to shallow to deep water injection.

Historical information from Icacos has seen fracking of Icacos well 1. Acidizing clean outs are also common in Trinidad along with well recompletions and well reactivations. GY671 was recompleted to test future recompletions of 2014/15wells, before touching on new drilling.

There is a huge number of things that could be done, fitting them together to get the best results is quite complex. This new team can obviously see the potential and clearly have the knowledge and experience to identify these opportunities.

Last gasp attempt at a rally here, this will fail imo and then the downward trend will reassert itself. Roll up,roll up,mugs wanted to buy shares at 2.10p that will soon be under 2p to buy, roll up,roll up.

Very likely apache,LGO do several placings a year to pay the bills.NR leaving was the excuse for a mini-rally here but constantly issuing shares to pay the bills will result in the share price falling and falling imo. Each time LGO rallies there are more punters locked in on the inevitable fallback and sometimes they have to sell at any price, thus making the fall even worse.

Leo's fund at about 250m last September and looking for investments as is Sterling where he is a NED - as I say I believe Leo sees this as a massive company with breathtaking assets, including possible undiscovered oil as per his assertion that the light crude suggests a larger pool of undiscovered oil, and that's why he decided to take it on imo - those not invested here or bitter losers will obviously disagree and say everything is dreadful zzzzzzzzzzzz

Why The Right Price For Oil Is Between $60 And $70

Before we get into this topic, let me remind readers that crude oil prices are determined on the global market and natural gas & natural gas liquids (“NGLs”) trade on regional markets. The vast majority of upstream oil & gas companies produce a mixture of these three commodities...
