04/9/2014 08:43 | And unsuccessful flow tests will see this tank big time.. im not convinced that the programme will be successful. There is no way on earth that well zsj7 is successful.. it's been over 8 weeks , it cant take this long to test atleast 1 of the zones.. obviously one or more of the zones have water so they are puttinf off telling us and cracking on hoping that they will be successful, its unfortunate ... yhe best we could hope for is an acquisition imo | socktrade1
03/9/2014 15:59 | RCTurner2 You are correct in saying that if gas if found we will all do well. In old presentations PA made a comparison between the enterprise values and market capitalisation of our neighbour Sino Gas & Energy (SEH) and ourselves. At that time SEH had issued 1120 million shares and had a market capitalisation of around A$ 130 million. Currently SEH have 1530 million shares in issue and a market cap of around A$ 370 million plus a very recently agreed loan facility of US$ 50 million. At 4p per share we have a market cap of just £10 million (A$ 17 million) and a bigger % stake in our acreage compared with SEH. Successful flow tests on ZJS 7 and the future well ZJS 8 would have a dramatic impact on LEN's share price. | rvsy38
03/9/2014 10:28 | We are waiting for news on the current work programme. The news may be good or bad. There is no point in speculating or trying to read the tea leaves. This is a gas exploration company, it is as risky as it gets. If gas is found we will all do well, if not then tough. | rcturner2
03/9/2014 10:11 | The bid hasn't moved. | useless23
03/9/2014 09:00 | that's quite sad especially if you don't actually hold any shares?........ | sos100
03/9/2014 08:28 | im becoming increasingly worried about this one | mpclag
01/9/2014 22:06 | I think there was a buy today wordog but under mid price and recorded as a sell. Noted that the MM's are currently soaking up any sells at present though albeit with a wide spread. | cupra kid
01/9/2014 20:43 | No buys for 3 days but share price holds? | wordog
25/8/2014 12:42 | Fair point, they will want to be 100% of either outcome. But if it was flooded I still believe they would have closed down and moved on by now, there must be a reason why they are still testing otherwise they are just burning cash. | wordog
24/8/2014 15:54 | I think the key here is the definition of the word "results". Whatever they find they may wish to test, improve , fix, analyse, etc before they release the definitive outcome. It appears that the geology here is not easy to understand so time and patience may be required. | diesel
24/8/2014 15:36 | Good summary Wordog | debz2
24/8/2014 10:46 | Interestingly they said the "results will be posted as they come to hand" last time and the results for 5 & 6 were in the same RNS after 10 weeks - not as they came to hand. Well 6 was tested first after it was drilled and ZJS5 second so it is difficult to asses which took longer. You might be right Socktrade, you could presume that the first 2 zones are 'dry' as we should have had an RNS by now, therefore we are currently testing the 3rd zone, given the period of time since commencement of testing. Unlike well 5 they may be conducting a full flow test with shut in period over 5 days (like Sino Gas have been) and therefore could cause a delay. In order to complete the programme by late October they need to start drilling well 8 in the first week of sept (4 weeks drilling and 4 weeks testing). We may see an operational update RNS with test results and spud of well 8. Hopefully an acquisition and share buy back to! ha ha. I'm only speculating, but time will tell. | wordog
23/8/2014 15:29 | sock- yeh ..but then LEN had Mr Fu in charge...and TBH he was not as good as everyone made him out to be. With the new guys things may be different and nay news may be released as soon as they have something to report...we hope. Sirra | sirraman
23/8/2014 14:46 | I don't understand your logic? if the well was flooded we would have known by now, but by the same token if it was a success and commercial then we should know by now??? Just because they hold out giving us news does not mean news will be good, remember well 6? they kept us waiting for how long? i cant remember but that turned out to be full of water | socktrade1
21/8/2014 20:59 | Ditto, it's quiet because there is not much to say. It took 8 weeks to test ZJS 5&6, but it also took 2 weeks prior to this to conduct preliminary tests, that's 10 weeks or 5 weeks per well. It has been 6 weeks since the RNS, so even with the extra zone to test results must be in the next week. I agree, if the well was flooded we would have heard by now. | wordog
21/8/2014 20:00 | Am still invested. Nothing really to write about. They'll either get the well to flow or they won't. I expect they're getting jip frim the chinese. | useless23
21/8/2014 15:36 | We're all lurking rvsy38, just not much to report on at the mo. News will come in the not too distant future :) | cupra kid
21/8/2014 15:06 | rvsy, a good result will see a strong climb, since it will be 6p cash + a free asset. | rcturner2
21/8/2014 14:58 | Despite the tick up of the share price this week, while we wait for test results from ZJS 7 it has been very quiet on this board in terms of the number of posts and daily volumes of shares traded . It is now more than 2 months since the AGM when it was announced that the ZJS 7 testing programme had been agreed with the partner. I am actually encouraged by the lack of news as, although the plan is to test three zones,I think we would have heard by now if the flow tests had been disappointing. It is probable that LEN's Chinese partner CNPC (and maybe LEN's consultants RISC) will have to approve any press release which could delay any RNS. However primarily for the reason above I have a good feeling about ZJS 7 and if the tests are successful I believe the share price would rise very quickly. | rvsy38
19/8/2014 16:35 | Nice top up mate, I wish I could afford to! I think there is just good support at 4p, don't think this is an indicator of news on the horizon. | wordog
19/8/2014 15:45 | The 2nd 100k was me SOS so not sure it's 'someone' in particular. Just PI's seeing good value at 4p once more. Onwards & upwards | cupra kid
19/8/2014 15:41 | someone is loading up with these 100k buys.. | sos100
19/8/2014 15:40 | Nice tick up,! | trotting12
15/8/2014 16:13 | Think if Z7 is commercial the share price will be back on track ... as confidence in the new team/director will be enhanced after Frank Fu disaster. Now lets just hope Z7 gets back on line in a couple of months... Sirra | sirraman
15/8/2014 14:09 | Do you miss arguing with him! He was pretty clued up on this share to be honest, he did buy back in a few montys back if I recall. | wordog |
