He bought 300,000 share on the 18th. Almost a third of the total volume. Any more and he probably would have driven the price up. I wonder if his broker still has an open order? It will be interesting to see if he tops up in coming days.

The RNS says 3m, but it looks like a typo and should be 300k.

We know the gas is there, it's just getting it out. Horizontal drilling could get a lot more of it out.

While vertical wells may be easier and less expensive to drill, they are not the most conducive to developing tight gas. In a tight gas formation, it is important to expose as much of the reservoir as possible, making horizontal and directional drilling a must. Here, the well can run along the formation, opening up more opportunities for the natural gas to enter the wellbore.

I have wondered for some time why we haven't tried horizontal drilling as I have also been keeping tabs on sino gas' successes.

rvsy...great update...nice to know what is going on around where LEN operates. here is hoping we find gas flow upto that level from ZJ7 in a few weeks....now that would make Tony Meggs a hero here.... ;o)
