24/10/2001 12:53 | His response should be interesting stanleyap, any other news, I am waiting on my contact, should have seen him last weekend but missed him. STORMY | onlyonestorm
24/10/2001 12:47 | Mr.Elbee Could you list a couple of your bad experience's and reg number and we'll get Jon Walden to sought it out for you if you want, can't have a customer not satisfied it would not do for the company image. Lex and especially Lex Vehicle Leasing is going to be a footsie 100 company with in a year, first class employee's and a first class management team. They will be number one again this year having won Fleet News three years running. aka stantheman adyor | stanleyap
24/10/2001 08:01 | rip off outfit run by complete bah lambs[personal repeated experience.list a mile long of damage ] BUY. | mr.elbee
24/10/2001 07:51 | All gone quiet on the Lex front - good recovery from the 430p level - this really is a robust stock. | uglyboatrace
09/10/2001 14:23 | et all It looks like 'Lex' will be bidding for the outsourcing of 'BT' and 'Consignia' from what I have heard. aka stantheman ADYOR | stanleyap
27/9/2001 16:35 | Nope! IT could be anywhere........... aka stantheman | stanleyap
25/9/2001 19:17 | Good stuff! Just as long as these beggars are over a tenner in 3 years time! You work in the MOD section by the way? | uglyboatrace
25/9/2001 17:04 | uglyboatrace Joint work with the MOD I think this could move the Lex Defence department into the front door. This consortium to evaluate the RAF airfield requirements across the globe can only bee good for the future of the business. aka stantheman | stanleyap
05/9/2001 15:24 | Stan - did you see that trade of 250,000 go through - someone has got some faith in us! | uglyboatrace
05/9/2001 14:54 | >>uglyboatrace & all I see the price is moving upwards once again - we could see this reach an all time high by end of the month. STM ADYOR | stanleyap
21/8/2001 23:37 | Hmmmmmmm......... | uglyboatrace
21/8/2001 23:14 | That would be telling? | stanleyap
21/8/2001 12:57 | No - I am not JW - but I wouldnt mind his salary! | uglyboatrace
21/8/2001 12:41 | uglyboatrace Yes but unfortunately no cash available but the 259 one 18 months ago was even better and the 384 nearly 3 years ago is maturing soon. Can't disguise who I am because I forgot to register here without my init and surname dooohh. But as long as you aren't JW I'm alright I suppose. There again I wouldn't dream of putting company sensitive information that wasn't public domain here anyway if you know what I mean. I am Just waiting on JW to annouce the fact the Lex and Godfrey will be working together and I believe these will reach 700 + by this time next year. aka stantheman. | stanleyap
21/8/2001 10:59 | You work for Lex Stanleyyap? | uglyboatrace
21/8/2001 10:46 | Nice to see that this stoxk is moving again. Roll on my options. Nothing has been said about the BoS Godfrey Davis Situation at present but since GE Capita has bought or merged with Lease Plan I cannot see Lex awaiting much longer not to be No 1 in the Vehicle leasing business. aka stantheman | stanleyap
09/8/2001 16:16 | Just a thought - Lex Vehicle Leasing division is owned 50% by Halifax - if the Halifax merge with BoS (Which they are doing) surely Lex will take on the 60,000 fleet vehicles that BoS currently have? | uglyboatrace
01/8/2001 15:24 | Lex results were out last week - they are doing better than ever, considering the motor trade is generally static. Since buying the RAC Lex seems to be a lot stronger and more resiliant to a possible recession. I am putting a target of 750p on these by year end. Anyone got any views? | uglyboatrace
10/6/2001 17:52 | The decision not to refer the acquisition of Auto Windscreens to the Competition Commission is good news for Lex. But I am interested to know what else is driving the price up? | george1
06/6/2001 10:44 | Is there any one out there? SO who has not taken any notice of this stock? Soon to break the 600p mark | stanleyap
18/4/2001 09:40 | Lex currently have a fleet size of 90000 + vehicles plus the extra 5000 + that will be coming to the business from MOD to Lex Vehicle Leasing. BT contract has no talk within LVL at present and no whispers either according to my friend. Structure within current business can cope with an increase of 25% to current work force but IT systems and employee size would require increase of 50% to cope with an additional fleet size of BT. My friend is saying that the next business that Lex would be looking at is exhaust and brakes etc. | stanleyap
11/4/2001 22:26 | Which presumably means it's the Halifax board that has to be convinced of the merits of what might be a tightly priced contract, rather than just the Lex board. And Halifax will have other plans of their own to weigh this one against. | m.t.glass
11/4/2001 16:03 | Access to the finance could be available through the Halifax who own 50% of Lex. | george1
11/4/2001 10:36 | From discussion on another board I see that the RAC (owned by Lex) have an established maintenance relationship with BT already. And BT say they've been watching the way the recent MoD/Lex contract was structured. Doesn't mean they won't copy that model and give the job to someone else though I suppose. | m.t.glass |
