As we look to the Forward View and its new models of care, this is no less important. You cannot re-design health and care to meet the needs of local people by setting lots more national targets or by ever-tighter regulation. Instead, the evidence tells us that the way to bring about sustained improvements in the quality of care is to provide freedoms to local leaders and their organisations, giving them the necessary tools and space. This requires a supportive national framework but not central control.

Re-inventing autonomy needs to go hand in hand with re-thinking the structure and governance of NHS providers. We are seeing the rise of new relationships both between providers and between providers and commissioners. These include binding primary care and secondary care more closely together in some of the vanguards, sustainability and transformation plans that are intended to enforce a place-based approach to services, and of course devolution. Yet the model of governance remains – trusts or foundation trust boards responsible for the performance of their own organisation. For the future, NHS Improvement will need to think through how the undoubted importance of having well-run organisations meshes with the equally important need to deliver integrated care across an entire geography – a responsibility that goes well beyond the boundaries of organisations as currently configured.

Things are all coming together here slowly, but very very nicely.

It is entirely possibly we have another week next week, like the last.

We know we are news driven, but we also know something is on the way.

Continual accumulation is the name of the game.

BBC TV had a feature that showed how good supply chain practice was working in Guy’s and St Thomas’ Trust. It featured their stock control system – “Doctors are shown the cost of each item as they take supplies, encouraging them to draw only the minimum they require”.
Our sources tell us that what was described as the “new system” is actually six years old, and we were disappointed not to see David Lawson on camera but it was good to hear of the procurement contribution - “the trust spends £40 million a year on clinical supplies. As a result of the new stock control system it has managed to save £4 million”. The report itself features Guys too, with a mention for the Virtualstock system we featured here.

From the main man at Guys and St Thomas trust

1st NHS trust that uses VS the edge tech

hxxp://virtualstock.co.uk/guys-and-st-thomas-nhs-trust

There are 168 trusts in England , VS could save the NHS half a billion pounds per year !!!!!

The NHS is on its knees and VS has the x NHS director of procurement working on healthcare contracts plus the x director from Samsung who grew sales from 1b - 4b within a year .

Decent day all round, volume over 150m and a higher high.

And all this on not even 200 trades. When the news hits, the MM's won't be able to hold it back.

Should be some decent buying into close . We are looking for a closing price ideally above 0.17p but 0.17p would still be fine . That would mean a new higher closing price share price which would bode very well for Monday morning .

That's twice now we have attempted to break 0.2p and normally on the 3rd attempt it breaks through and then old resistance becomes new support . That would tie in with the new yearly higher high (above 0.22p) that I am expecting as well .

Yearly high break outs are a very strong signal so expect a huge push up when it happens !!!

I would not like to be out of this at all , let alone this weekend because we could get a NHS update at any time .

With just over two hours to go, would be an extremely bullish signal if we started to rise from these levels again towards the close.
