Stunning interims today. Another tough spell with current lockdowns but those numbers suggest a normalised PE of c. 4 and a huge discount to TNAV. Proper Ben Graham stuff, albeit it's as hard to like as a Sarson's Vinegar ice cream...

35-40p range surely a more sensible valuation?

Someone has been mopping up the free float over the last month.
Warehouse may have some value.
The Swedes should retire gracefully.

Potentially a big increase in the share price here! Jan is no fool so I'll hang on to my shares.

Might be a value trap - see if there is positive cashflow in next report.

Russ - is this just morbid interest, or are you still holding?

I confess that I held on for about a decade+ too long before selling out 3 or 4 years ago.

The same value case I remember making back in the noughties I believe could be made now, but erm whatever the Swedes are up to it is clearly not about helping fellow shareholders.

Textiles for face masks could be a growth area.

Hemmers have this really big warehouse in Nordhorn, Germany. What they should do is forget about textiles and kit the warehouse out with the longest bar in the world. They could then serve beer to hundreds of punters all standing 2m apart. The safest bar in Europe, could be a money spinner.

I still have a small holding here mainly because I have paper certificates from years ago. To sell them I would have to find the certs or fill out a form saying I'd lost them. I could realise a tax loss, but I'm spoiled for choice in my protfolio with holdings on which to realise a tax loss.

Their usual style is to bottom fish in the troughs.
Probably looking for small acquisitions.
Could do a low ball offer but do they really want the hassle.

Is anyone still holding these? I wonder what the Swedes are thinking. Will they try to take it private and sell it off or are they just going to stick with the status quo which is getting noone anywhere?

Really just an asset play at moment with NAV at 60p per share.

A riser today, on small.

News and some decent buying will quickly put Leeds much higher than were we currently sit.

No real strategic imperative from the Swedes as usual.

Awful. Just asset strip and sell out.
Pretty basic business.

No comment on the results? Pretty appalling I thought. This is now purely a play on the asset value.
