Delayed results are never usually good news unfortunately, especially with the recent trading statements.

Accts are later than usual.
Maybe old vegetables need throwing out.

I recall Johan getting upset at one year’s AGM when constantly being referred to as one of those Swedes, but Jan didn’t seem troubled.

Looking at this thing for the first time in years, I can see why the share price is sliding. Inventory and debt have been ballooning and it looks like the bottom fell out in H2 as the company went from reporting that profits would exceed the 2018 number, to now being significantly below.

It's twenty years since the two Swede's first invested in this. They are probably down over 50% that time with no dividends in the meantime to speak of. Anyone in their right mind would surely wind this thing up at this stage.

Maybe it is about time the Swedes found a "translator".

Happy that I headed for the 'Exit' a long time ago. Minorities, they don't exist according to this BoD.

Arthur knows the history.
As do I.
Swedes,in concert, should have been compelled to bid at 40 pence + 20 years ago
Amen.

Maybe it is time the Swedes tried a new capital management strategy for the benefit of minorities.

Gyllie's track record over 30 years is that PIs have oft spotted value situations, only for Gyllie to acquire an effective controlling stake. End of story for the PI minority.

Annoy him here and he might launch a 30p take-it-or-leave-it Offer. Leave him in peace and he might turn this around with 30p+ possible, but don't expect a dividend.

I declare to be a holder and cheap buyer.

The share price will languish until BoD give minorities "something".

At least the loose ends of the JV have been cleared up.
You are right; not a highly valued business but a cash cow.
Might be valued by a competitor.
The warehouse property might be useful to someone.

The Swedes have lost the plot. Retire gracefully.
Just liquidate LDSG for the minorities.

Probably becuase the Swedes can't finally kill it off without admitting they went over the 30% threshold without making an offer as a concert party many years ago.

Been through a similar process with ZMNO and now waiting for the proceeds of a voluntary liquidation at a small loss!

Personally I wouldn't bother with PTD either. I know the balance sheet looks good but although they seem to report a profit much of it seems to go into stock which goes up and up for a few years and then gets written off.

I'm not sure how racy you like them but you could take a look at RLM. It's a failed pharma that is trading at a pretty big discount to cash, although it's still burning it. They've now decided to throw in the towel and put the whole lot up for sale and are in talks at the moment. They hope to finish things by the end of this quarter.

They way I see it is if there is any value in the IP or business then there could be some decent upside and if there isn't there should still be enough cash left for me to get my money back. Maybe not the sort of thing you call value though.

Realise these are a slow burner Arthur. Class myself as a value investor, hence hold BISI, BLEY, PTD etc. BISI has proved decent investment but not the other two! In fact BLEY being delisted and I am forced to either accept £1 per share or hold shares unlisted. Will probably reinvest BLEY proceeds here when received in March. Never learn!

Been cheap for years.
Probably be cheap next year.
