If I may modestly point out, the share price has been going North ever since I made my remark about the bollinger bands ;-)

Chart looking quite powerful to my untrained eye if it holds today's rise

In my experience this stock has drifted lower before acquisitions. That's entirely logical if you think about it. Large holders invited to participate in a placing at eg 120p, will sell at 130p to pay for the cheaper shares. If any of you follow TLY over the years, (plenty other examples) you'll know what I mean! Also fwiw, I think LTG will want to see how potential targets have been coping since lockdown before making a move.Just my thoughts

Well, so far so good. Those who bought into the placing at 127p a month ago should be reassured that that the share price has now clearly moved above that. As and when it gets beyond the 140p peak touched in May, we should be able to look forward to an acquisition being that much closer and giving further impetus upward.

Aha. Sorry I misread you, JD 23.

Just conceivably Christh is aware of something afoot, but I really really doubt it.

Hi aimingupward. I was asking christh, but thanks for your input! The way he said "acquisition not concluded yet" suggests he might know something we do not?!

JohnDoe23 - no, I'm not suggesting that an acquisition is imminent. On the contrary, I think it may well be 2-3 months before the first one comes along, but what is virtually certain is that, not just one, but 2 or 3 will be completed by either the year end or early next year.

"that suggests a significant movement either up or down over the coming weeks".

That's useful! That's chartism for you. No doubt after the event, all will be revealed.

Are you suggesting an acquisition is imminent?!

A significant price move downward would seem to be pretty unlikely in the current circumstances, but if it were to happen I would see that as a great opportunity to add more before the acquisitions come along and the upward move resumes.

I'm not a conviction chartist, but to me that suggests a significant movement either up or down over the coming weeks. There'll be others who have deeper insight about this, I'm sure.

If you're into bollinger bands, they've not been so tight since 2017.

Christh,

You were expecting an opening price of 150p a few days ago - rising to 170p.

Whatever happened to that prediction?

Good video here from Jonathan Satchell. Lots of acquisitions being sought:

They have said that the pandemic has not had a marked effect, unless I'm reading the wrong update.

How much would they have grown without the pandemic ? Would it have been 50% +. ?

Because many growth stock investors will be looking at the growth rate vs the rating. Cash generation is an aside.

Well put Jeffian...so far virtually all the acquisitions have been value accretive and revenue and profit targets are ahead of company targets.Strong cash flow allows LTG to pay down debt quite quickly and we are not over leveraged. Andrew Brode and Jonathan Satchell own over 30% of LTG and have an excellent track record.

I reckon LTG will make around/atleast 3-4 acquisitions in the next 12 months or so with one or two being pretty chunky (all speculation on my part based on their track record).

If anything with WFH now here to stay and people working remotely, the opportunities for e-learning are bound to grow.

Though some may be feel that LTG is over valued, I am happy to hold :)

The management believe there are many such opportunities especially in the US. Regarding earnings this year we’ve had a pandemic you may have noticed
