Some companies, which are confidently believed to be long term growth businesses, are pretty much constantly ‘greatly overvalued’. As you still have a holding here, I presume you have just been prudent in selling some. Whatever, I wish you well for the year ahead.

All the tech stocks have done v well but LTGs earnings were static

Volume is light, I think it's just the usual Santa Rally and won't be sustained in January - unless, of course, we get some good news. I think most of it is already factored in the price tbh. Hope I'm wrong ;-)

Share price heading clear of the pause around 168 - 174p and the peak at that level back in Feb’. Goodness knows where it is heading now. I find “224p or more” difficult to imagine without further very positive company news, but perhaps we’ll get that. Here’s hoping.

It's only 3 weeks since Goldman Sachs reiterated their 'sell' recommendation whilst raising their tp to a 118.3p. I wonder what their next pronouncement will be. Do these people ever admit to having got it wrong?

Is it, I wonder, that Investtech and Motley Fool are quite influential and have a significant following or is there more to this morning's rise in the share price than we know of.

Just further rises to 224 or more - if resistance support between 169-172 was broken

Any tp from them, mo? Actually, the phrase 'a long term hold' isn't really saying anything. You could put most shares into that category.

Today’ s rise, if it’s held, does look very significant after the pause around 168 - 174p.

Capita's share price fell on the news whereas LTG has risen since. I wonder if this is because it is thought that slim margins and the spread over a number of years means that it's no real loss for LTG and that there are other and better opportunities.
