So the RNS this evening, re Neil Elton selling to fund a house purchase, probably explains most of the post results share price weakness !

Andrew Brode is an acquisition-centric entrepreneur with an excellent track record. To my mind you buy the man rather than the company and he has an almost Buffet-style following. I think he has been concentrating his energies on an RWS acquisition of late but it won't be long before his attention return to LTG. Patience is required here.

Not the most inspiring results and not what I was expecting, however, cash generation is OK, and company looks in good shape financially. I am just a little unsure as to where they will find some real growth through their acquisitions...organic growth is poor, but others may disagree.

I think that's prudent under the circumstances. The buccaneering can resume once the global economy settles down.

Net cash inflow from operating activities just over £20M.Placement proceeds used to pay down debt and rest on deposit until next acquisition comes along.

The market seems to love it - that's good enough for me :)

At first glance and given Covid, the interims look ok to me. The eps line is pretty static with a chunk of fx and tax benefits giving support but it's the huge cash generation level that really catches the eye together with forecast revenue growth between now and 2022. We're also getting two dividends rolled into one and there is a small Aussie acquisition plus the appointment of a non exec with an M&A background. The direction of travel seems quite clear to me a sensible market should find comfort in the statement. The problem is whether the market is going to be in a sensible mood!

I think it might have been someuwin (not sure, but usually is!), who is defo not on my filter list.

Person on advfn help couldn't see it. Was initially sceptical that it could have gone, but it surely has!

I do know that if you have filtered the thread originator on any other thread, anything he/she originates will become invisible to you. Mind you, if that is the case, it must be someone I've filtered too because I can't see it either!

o/t. I know a few here posted or followed another Brode company GRC.

Thread has vanished, literally, which I thought was 'impossible'.

Anyone else noticed this, or know what happened?

Wall street dive. A lot of stock just sank this afternoon, on the back of Pew resarch and other bearish views; nothing appears specific to LTG. I'd probably wait for this to settle before you add to your isas.

Looking to add with kids isas, maybe even the wife's! lol

Andrew Brode has clearly had his hands full recently with the RWS merger. Now that deal is approaching completion perhaps his focus will switch to LTG.

Also been going up pretty much ever since the unfortunately named "Investors Champion" suggested it was too highly valued :)

That is true - although I was avoiding making a prediction in terms of direction because I didn't want to be accused of ramping. As a holder, obviously I thought it was a good sign. The last time the BB were so tight, it led to sustained rises.

All that said, I'm not a true believer of charts. My above comment was more tongue in cheek :-) And I'm certainly not an expert, even if I wish I were!

Indeed you may. Enjoy the ride.

May I respectfully point out, though, that at the time you didn’t seem to know whether it would break out northwards or south. Direction is more important than timing.

If I may modestly point out, the share price has been going North ever since I made my remark about the bollinger bands ;-)
