30/3/2015 16:26 | ALY have informed Hargreaves Lansdown that the Annual Report will be published towards the end of April, but no specific date as been given yet. | garycook
30/3/2015 11:09 | Thanks for letting us know. Looks like we might have to wait a while yet. I suppose to be fair, it's only two months since year end so we can't really complain about them taking too long to publish the final results. On the other hand, some sort of post-Christmas trading update and a financial calendar doesn't seem beyond the capabilities of most other listed retailers. | gostevie63
30/3/2015 06:44 | Asked my broker Hargreaves Lansdown on Friday to Phone ALY HQ in Fulham ,they did and were given no guidelines, also contacted Computershare the Registrars also the same. Never trust a China man. Lost £8,000 in Naibu Global(NBU) will never trust a China man again | garycook
27/3/2015 08:57 | Ha ha! Joking aside though, I do think it's a bit poor that this medium size retailer hasn't given us any sort of clue as to what trading was like over Christmas or when we can expect the results. Still, it remains my largest single holding and I'm sure all will be forgiven if the results are good and we get another decent dividend. | gostevie63
27/3/2015 08:36 | Was expecting some final results here over last couple of days - must be the big numbers taking longer to count! | nigelmoat
25/3/2015 02:31 | Srp, Ha Ha Ha. Me too, As you probably know Own ALY.GVC and HGM also. Looking to top up on all 3,but all 3 getting played around by the Market Makers .Want to wait for ALY results | garycook
24/3/2015 16:23 | Last year I think it was the 27th March, I do not talk much about aly, I just buy them on the dips pocket the 7% dividend and do it again, here, at gvc, itv and hgm. Compound on compound on compound. No need to talk, to busy counting. dyor regards active | srpactive
24/3/2015 15:13 | Srp. Talk about ALY. You have been spending to much time on other threads. When are ALY Finals? | garycook
24/3/2015 14:40 | I do find it very degrading to the senior's in our society who get the flack for a thick moment by a younger person. And before any thicko replies I am nowhere near a senior age. | srpactive
24/3/2015 10:07 | Hi GARYCOOK, I did mean Thursday, not Tuesday. Must have had a 'senior moment'! Have now edited the mistake. Do post if you hear back from either of the people you have contacted. Kind regards, Gostevie | gostevie63
24/3/2015 09:55 | Gostevie, Think you mean the last Thursday in March which would be on the 26th this Thursday as you have stated ! Called Brunswicks in London who are ALY Financial and Corporate Advisers. Lady there did not know but would find out and email me the details also emailed Cantor Fitzgerald ALY brokers | garycook
23/3/2015 11:24 | I notice that for the past few years the finals have been announced on the last Thursday in March, so perhaps we can expect this year's on this coming Thursday. | gostevie63
16/3/2015 14:28 | Srp, Looks like a good chance of buying ALY around 26,will depend on results. ALY on a retrace at the moment. Will be interesting on 27 March. Anybody know what the Short % is at the moment. British Bulls quoted Stay Short ALY on 02/03 since then stock as fallen 5%.Will top up anyway when ALY bottoms for the 7% plus Yield. | garycook
12/3/2015 21:27 | Cheers Killie for reply | badtime
12/3/2015 19:38 | What are you saying guys, lot of stores closing? The one in Aberdeen is in the biggest mall, prime site. Not saying it is always busy, when passing. Not a lot of clothes on display, in widow......furniture and fabrics. | irnbru2
12/3/2015 19:26 | badtime. Prime location in centre of York. I am told closure is due to landlord wanting to open pub on site because there are just not enough drinking holes in York!! ALY have another store on outskirts of city. | killieboy
12/3/2015 10:27 | Maybe it might be to do with the footfall people having empty wallets or no job, that is why they are driving or wandering around the shopping centre. dyor | srpactive
12/3/2015 09:51 | LZ Boulevard in Spain, 2nd largest outdoor shopping Mall in Spain. Footfall in the Mall and parking not an issue here. | uknighted
12/3/2015 08:48 | All about footfall or parking, even more now due to the internet. dyor | srpactive
