Of course there's a ray of hope! I know the share price is frustrating but it's also frustrating to hear shareholders talking the company down at every available opportunity...

Good post by someone that I've c&p'd from another BB:- "Sadly my greatest fear with regard to the company not having sufficient funds is now out in the public domain. No pleasure in being right - I witnessed the same at PGD where the company was brought to it's knees before BH exited left and took up the mantle here with a similar situation arising. Loads of companies out there to choose from with serious amounts of in ground resources/reserves but no funds to enable them to move from exploration to production. Those with available funds are able to bide their time and pick off the weakest at a price which suits them - after all there is no point in the 'cash rich' paying more today when the price will be less in the foreseeable future. Many desirable assets are held within companies which can't continue - thereafter those assets can be picked up in a fire sale for next to nothing. Sad but true. Long gone are the times when one could buy into a 'minnow' who would take all the risks knowing that if successful a 'Major' would buy them out or pay handsomely to pay a premium to enter into a JV. The world has changed - investment has changed - with money being made by trading volatility in the small caps - the Blue Chip's generating a decent income paying investors a high yield will always be in demand when interest rates are low. Brancote was a long long time ago and a company director is only as good as his last appointment. Not good to viewed by the markets as being a 'one trick pony' especially when you are heading up a company that requires cash."

Hopefully further funds can be gained at a higher share price after the resource update later in the year?

I bought these at about 17p something like 10 years ago from memory. At the time,I was attracted by their Lithium prospects. The directors have successfully all but written off my investment.Their achievement has been drilling holes, and placing after placing. The only morsel so far is their gold prospect. It is now time for these leading lights to retire from the company,as they are well past their sell by date.Let someone else take over with more vision and purpose to provide hope and inspiration to long suffering private shareholders.

After next inevitable fundraiser there'll be in excess of 1 billion shares in circulation. If the share price is ever to recover back to the 15p level it was once at - then anyone who wants to buy LND outright that equates to an absolute minimum acquisition price of £150 million PLUS mine construction costs. There'd have to be a lot of high margin gold to justify a healthy IRR on that investment. They've done well to keep this going over the past 10 years fluctuating between the various minerals of nickel, iron ore & gold and others. Paid themselves in fees & expenses and kept their own original shareholding % in tact. No mean feat. Take my hat off to them for that. No need to take up knitting just yet in their retirement. The excuse of a 'crashed' current market -v- having a strategy in place to confidently cope with that in a Futures market. After a decade of trying not a great performance for & on behalf of the long suffering PI holder who invested at circa 15-20p many moons back. But still hope of some return. Sometime. Watch this space!

Oo a bit of a mark down at the moment. Was it the statement that they'll need further funding for the new drilling. Guess there is gold at the end of this rainbow.

I think the gold deposit is going to be a winner - the recent drilling results and those to come should result in a significant Resource upgrade in the next couple of months. Of course , a lot more grilling is required which means more money. I think it's the corporate side that needs attention with enhanced management , a dual listing in Toronto and a decent broker getting behind it.

Afternoon Glenn, after this mornings RNS (that I discovered after seeing remarks above) .. perhaps whatever drill results are reported, few believe that Landore is ever going to actually do anything but initiate further surveys and pay directors salaries with our money? I used to receive email RNS updates, and having written personally to the company countless times over the past couple of years to request being put back on the email list, I haven't even so much as received the courtesy of a reply. How do any of us even know that anybody pops into the office occasionally? I'm beginning to feel this whole affair has become something reminiscent of the incident of the Mary Celeste. Does anyone have a positive spin on what's actually going to happen here? It's most depressing seeing the total lack of enthusiasm in the share price

It would be a pity to get rid of the remaining lithium sites,as this would be a backward step. The march towards the use of electrical generation for motor vehicles instead of fossil fuels guarantees lithium an assured future. This could be a valuable metal as demand starts to surge. Therefore,it is a blessing that LND still has a Lithium property in its portfolio.

"Archaean greenstone belt which traverses the property for 19 kilometres (km) though the Landore property and for an additional 11 km to the west through the adjacent Lamaune Iron property in which Landore holds a significant interest." 30 kilometres overall - all neat and tidy back under LND Control - perhaps we can now get rid of the remaining Lithium Sites

As far as I see it and was drifting and went to lows of 0.5p. Then we got the gold.....price went up to 4.8p. Fantastic. Everything I've read indicates the area may contain a massive amount of gold. Perhaps we could've sold to a major for 7 ...8. ... even 10p. Seems to me they aren't happy with that. Would you sell a masterpiece for a grand if potentially it's worth a million? I don't think so. I don't pretend to know the ins and outs it's just I see this as really a 2 year old company. And I accept it takes time to drill and test. I'm comfortable hiding these and seeing what happens and my average was 14p but I averaged down around 1 to 2p. Each to their own. It's risky and painfully slow but in it now.

Lochlea. You are absolutely right. The share price says it all.We have seen a downward spiral.Of all the prospects that they have,do we see any producing mine? No.They have have had years and years to prove something.Just maybe, BAM East gold deposit could be their redemption!Needless to say,PIs have been utterly clobbered by so much dilution for very many years indeed. It is therefore time for the BOD to make way for others to ensure a more hopeful future!

Re 1296 Note about Landore in 2012 It was then that I bought in very significantly at 18p. Does anyone believe that it might still be worth buying here at current prices in order to get an average price down to say 5p? I'm not sure whether I'd just be throwing good money after bad?
