Of course the biggest issue with pgd is that it's upside down. :)

I take your point Lochlea although Patagonia is a different beast. I have been a shareholder of PGD since the 60p a share days and foolishly didn't sell ! I think the Resource is around 1.4m gold plus the silver but they do have to go underground and have much higher costs than anticipated in Landore's project. PGD have also suffered with the situation in Argentina albeit things have improved.

I agree with Temujiin in that Landore got lucky with the gold discovery and now has a great opportunity. They will need funding in Feb / March but that will enable management to be beefed up and to increase ounces which is the name of the game. The company is quite advanced with technical and environmental studies etc and as we all know the real bonus is the expected simple , low cost and high recovery mining.

Given the age of management , I'm sure the plan is to sell to one of the big boys next year. I think our main concern is the gold price. Management have done it before with Brancote ( I know a long time ago ) so I'm hoping its a repeat albeit it will be on a smaller scale.

Hi Lochlea,

I don't have in-depth knowledge of LND that often accompanies being a LT holder. I came in only about 6 month ago, bought about 550k, sold about 250k and have now increased to holding 450k with an average of 2p. Last two purchases were 50k at 3.3 and 3.07. I'm open minded about buying another 50k.

From my perspective previous dilutions are just historical facts, thought I appreciate many don't respect or trust this management, and feel that they (and most other managements) are in it for themselves and do well even if the share price collapses.

What I am interested in is what management are doing now & going forward, the likely results from drilling and the likely share price direction. From my 'limited' experience of management they have stumbled upon a significant gold resource but crucially they have quickly moved to prove up and delineate much of this discovery. I like the results so far, like the fact much ground work has previously been carried out and like the indications this can be a low cost mine.

I don't mind that they need another placing to raise funds as long as this money is used to quickly prove up resources and turn that in to a reserve asap. Then possibly a JV or sale perhaps keeping some royalties. Good luck to all of us shareholder though, long and new termers.

btw toffee......... on the subject of Mkt Cap........Patagonia Gold (PGD) where the main directors of LND hail from......... have an inferred gold resource of well in excess of 3 million ozs and has been in gold production for past 2-3 years. Yet today it has a Mkt Cap of less than £35m and shares trade at just over 2p. Just saying (for balance).

Have they got the funds in place to carry out the drilling prog mentioned in 2017 (Q 1 & 2)?

Or is there a need for a Placement to raise those funds?

If so, you'd think that'd be done prior to announcing any resource estimate. ie early 2017.

Given the drilling results to date , one would assume that the Resource expected in the New Year should be at least 250,000 ounces with still plenty of upside. That's almost $300m in the ground at today's gold price and remember the exoected low production costs. The company will have a real story to tell and I'm sure brokers , investors and importantly , gold producers will take notice.

There are a lot of shares on issue by UK standards but I just look at the market capitalisation. It's approx £21m which is extremely low if the Resource is decent.

Subject to the usual market uncertainties , you would would think there is significant upside in the share price. I think the next couple of months will be critical.

If's and ands ... pots and pans:

I know that this may be a "length of a piece of string" type of question, but I wonder given the dilution since the heady 18p days, what sensible share price expectation can ever be realised if there is ever enough gold to take into production here?

Does anyone have some sort of guesstimate as to what might possibly be achieved here in the New Year after so much dilution?

Landore lacks any promotion at the moment but hopefully that will change after the Resource is announced.

The deposit looks good , it's decent grade and will have extremely low production costs.

It should be attractive to one of the producers next year as the ounces increase.

I've been in the stock for a long time but they now appear to be onto something significant. The share price is disappointing but that will sort itself out in due course.

1. Drill
2. Report results
3. If results warrant, raise more funds and drill more
4. Report results & again if results warrant, raise funds and drill more, repeat
5. Work towards a resource, reserve, BFS, build mine

Isn't this how all resource companies behave?

Having heard nothing for weeks I popped in here today and see there was an RNS on the 5th.

Is it any wonder that nobody knows about this? I presume Landore no longer has a PR department. Until this year, we at least used to receive emails with RNS news.

In this day and age, the very least they could do is get an intern to put together an email address list to send their shareholders RNS updates.

Disgraceful.

So, what's the programme now?

1) Share price continues to drift south?
2) Drilling update late Q4 2016 or early Q1 2017 - which likely won't make a toss of a difference to the share price
3) Share price continues to drift or be manipulated lower?
4) Mid Q1 - Placement sub 2p to facilitate funds needed for drilling prog in Q2?
5) Late Q1 - Announce resource estimate?
6) Share price then recovers and all the BNC/PGD/LND ramping brown nosers are happy?

lochlea.

I totally agree. They are like the proverbial butterfly, alighting here there and everywhere.I dread to think how much they have spent hole drilling in the past decade, not to mention the directors renumeration in all that time.Of course, it is the shareholders who bear the brunt of all this.Yes, like all of us,I am still waiting for that elusive delivery.
