Landore needs to be listed in Canada where it's valuation would be double the current price. Just a thought!

Further updated today Visible gold from drilling at BAM bodes extremely well for Landore Landore Resources has delivereed some extremely attracively looking drill hits from BAM East, and there could be more to come High grade has been the highlight of the recent drilling campaign undertaken by Landore Resources Limited (LON:LND) at its BAM East gold project on the company’s wider and extensively mienralised Junior Lake property. In particular, one drill hole hit 53.5 metres at 1.38 grams per tonne gold, including 9 metres at 4.74 grams and one metre at just over 30 grams. Perhaps even more significantly, 20 of the 28 holes drilled so far have yielded visible gold. Typically, gold in modern drill core is only visible through a microscope, so to have gold showings of up to 2 millimetre in length visible to the naked eye, as Landore has in its latest BAM core is quite something. Certainly, it means that the grade is likely to hold up well, when newly appointed consultants RPA Inc of Toronto come to wrap a resource number around BAM in the coming months. And given the nearness to surface of these intercepts, it also means that even at this early stage Landore is justified in beginning to conceive of the project as a low-cost bulk tonnage open-pit operation. Visible gold is usually quite straightforward to extract from its surrounding ore, so initial recoveries would likely be high, all tending towards the assembly of a robust economic model for BAM. But it’s early days yet. The drill rigs are set to start turning again in October, and we’ll know more after the results from that campaign are in. The next round of drilling will commence with large-diameter holes to allow the company to recover larger samples for metallurgical testing. Following on from that, drilling to test for mineralisation will continue to the east, west, and down-dip. It will be particularly interesting to get a clearer idea of the extent of the mineralisation at BAM, because it is situated right in the middle of a highly prospective 2.7 kilometre geophysical anomaly. At the western end of this anomaly lies the original BAM discovery zone, first investigated by Landore back in 2003. The new zone current comprises 500 metres of consistent lithology along strike and up to 150 metres down dip. If that can be extended by the next round of drilling, then it will become apparent that Landore really is onto something interesting here. But there could be more good news ahead of that, though. Results from the final 10 holes that Landore drilled over the summer are still pending, and could well deliver another round of attractive intercepts. And with the gold price still strong at over US$1,340, what better time to be delivering good news drilling results into the market?

A nice summary from Proactive yesterday: Landore Resources Ltd (LON:LND) continues to be excited by the findings at its Bam East gold prospect at the Junior Lake project in Ontario, where wide zones of gold, including high grades, have been uncovered. The summer drill programme is now complete and the firm said mineralisation, close to surface, has the potential to be developed as a low cost, bulk tonnage, open pit operation. It would involve a simple processing route with excellent recovery potential. The programme saw 22 diamond drill holes for 4,077 metres (m) to test the east, west and down-dip areas of the new zone, with results received for 12. One hole reported 53.5 metres at 1.38 grams per tonne gold (g/t) including 9m at 4.74g/t gold and 1m at 30.60g/t gold. Meanwhile, 20 of the 28 holes have shown multiple instances of visible gold (VG) up to two millimetres long. Further sampling at the adjacent leucogabbro rock has extended the mineralisation in a previous hole from 24.5m at 0.98g/t gold to 40.5 m at 1.32g/t gold, Landore highlighted. Drilling is scheduled to start again in October this year, firstly to provide material for metallurgical testing, then there will be further extension drilling.

Yep but with drills going back in October they seem to have plenty of action plus we are waiting on assays on 16 holes so plenty of news I would imagine. What I would like news on is trenching? So here is the tantalising question "Are there any parallel structures? Is this occurrence a one off or are there more. Do remember we are in a gold bearing greenstone bel! But for now over to the geologists.

DB - Again sincere thanks for enlightening me. I probably should buy more but I do agree with some of lochlea's sentiments regarding the stocks behaviour and numerous nearly but not quite moments over the years. Over to the drills!

Hi jackball The engineer I talked to on Friday I doubt would be changing his mind at this point. He thought 250k was easily the case but that 500k was more likely assuming the results continued same as before. To get it bigger he mentioned two possible avenues. Firstly the strike length becomes a lot bigger, that just takes steady exploration with the drill to find out the answer whether Yes or No? The second possibility was better grade to depth which appears to be the case but what we would want is some bonanza sections over three or four metres. Now that would change the gave significantly. That 9m of 4.74gm being an example of that sort of event. Anyway I can tell you what my old crusty friend would say "Take a breath and let the drills do the talking!" But all good stuff as I see it.

Ok the summary NI 43101 resource being fast tracked Secondly strike length extended to 500m and more to come as still open Thirdly depth now down to 150m Fourthly grade is increasing to depth. That is a lot of progress after just two small drill campaigns

DB if your out there I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on this. Does this mean that 500 is more likely than 250 now? Also I am guessing that more money is required now due to the break in schedule until Q4 or would that be a logistical delay? Quite understand if these questions are impossible to answer but based on lack of volume and price performance this morning I am just trying to understand the lack of interest in this after an excellent RNS to he "untrained" eye.

Looks damn good to me. I don't think this is really being thought of as a gold stock yet. Maybe that will come. As DB says, it won't take much and it's starting to look as though they've only scratched the surface of the gold potential so far.
