17/11/2017 13:16 | This on the pfc thread, could one of them come here if they do not get pfc dyor? ==================== Just read the telegraph article, didn’t realize they maybe 3 potential bidders, 2 US giants & Middle Eastern outfit, multiple interest, if correct, could generate a big take out price, US bidder/s have a decent currency edge too. | srpactive
17/11/2017 12:47 | I think something big is coming, hold on. | srpactive
17/11/2017 12:22 | Feels like we're in play! | targatarga
17/11/2017 12:07 | Something happening here, maybe the bid is not for pfc, dyor. | srpactive
17/11/2017 07:34 | Norges Bank increasing rns. | srpactive
16/11/2017 22:23 | Bid for pfc on the cards. | srpactive
30/10/2017 13:39 | Lets hope we're going back up now! Perhaps they've decided on the finall take out price! | targatarga
24/10/2017 13:06 | I just can't fathom what's going on here - having been in for 4+years now. Look at this management team: the VPs are nearly all new; implying they are CMcD apointees. The man himself was supposed to be a great catch as LAM put themselves out to get him. Leaving that aside WTF does Nick Garrett do? Is he an old pal of S.Lamprell or is he actually there to make sure it's sorted out? And why are JPM (AM) shorting the stock when JPM Cazenove are the advisers? (Please I don't need lectures on chinese walls etc). And why have JPM (AM) taken this position after Garrett (a former JPM whizz kid) was appointed to the Board. There are endless possibilities. One way or the other the share price is well too low or else Lamprell family has lost the plot - which I doubt! JMHO | plunger2
24/10/2017 12:27 | We have, last results were febrile, a company that lacks any vision, and is stuck in the same place as it was five years ago, complete complacency, time the asset value of the company was realised, but while the Lamprell family refuses to accept the company is stuck in one sector principally it will make little headway, the board need to get their act together, unacceptable performance! | bookbroker
24/10/2017 11:17 | It's a bit disconcerting for me that we have had a 40% fall in share price since June and not a peep from the board as to why. | 1fox1
20/10/2017 09:57 | bb - Looks like you called it right - Short term anyway. | pugugly
19/10/2017 18:53 | I think the risk reward ratio is weighted in my favour at this money Pug. We'll see. | 1fox1
19/10/2017 17:01 | I'll probably buy a few tomorrow, approaching long term support. | blackbear
19/10/2017 17:01 | 1fox1- but projected loss making next year so how much erosion of cash pile and NTAV? | pugugly
19/10/2017 16:27 | Just bought them back at 71p. Two chances. Got to be cheap at this level with the cash pile. Might be a bit more down side but can't be much in my humble opinion. | 1fox1
19/10/2017 16:12 | I’m surprised Steven Lamprell is prepared to put up with the constant gyrations in the price here, he is not going to receive any dividend for the foreseeable future, and the value of his asset is declining by the day, I do not think a profits warning is likely as we already know that their order book has run dry. What we do know is that this company sits on some valuable fixed assets, and if you believe in the Middle Eastern story then this company has value to an acquirer . The performance of the last five years has been shocking, with or without a collapse in the oil and gas infrastructure business, this company needs to be put on the block, as there is no light at the end of the tunnel in sight - a very disappointing and irritating company, have a holding here, but loathe to sell at a discount to NAV! | bookbroker
19/10/2017 15:52 | Feels like someone has leaked profit warning details! | targatarga
19/10/2017 12:12 | I’ll buy more under 70p. | bookbroker
19/10/2017 12:11 | That what this co. needs, typical buyout where time is on their side without the scrutiny of being a listed company, strong assets so prime target! | bookbroker
19/10/2017 11:32 | You're right, gap at 64p could get filled particularly if markets get a little more volatile! It is technically very oversold, the most oversold in fact since Jan 16. So could be a wee bounce on the cards before the downward trend continues imo ;) | dealer1972 |
