So Kennedy arrives to quell the fires of LAM in 2012. He is a nuts and bolts industry lifer with a tall reputation - just what the Lamprell family need. He has a baptism of fire in every sense but he puts about about £1.25m of his own money into the shares at £1+.

The management and company is successfully overhauled. The future looks much better barring the PoO situation.

Then the family appoint NG in March. He is a finance guy who knows the industry really well. His brief can only be to upscale the company dramatically OR to conclude a corporate deal of scale (takeover/buy-in etc).

Then Kennedy prepares his goodbyes.

I have fastened my seat belt - it could get interesting.

That 4m shares bought on Tuesday was interesting. Certainly somebody (of size) thinks there's a play here.

I do too - but I've been wrong before. If there is then Q2 may tell all.

We did the 8 day cruise separately the year before. The boat was a five star. It only had 20 cabins on it. I liked it because I was able to visit all the mysterious place I learnt about at school. Enjoy yourself anyway :o)

presently at the desert rose. spent 2 weeks at the sunrise royal makida in january(better drinks) the cruises for us was a con merchants dream..imho

Hurghada........ Brave man. Which hotel/ We were there a March 2014 ago. Stayed at the Sunrise Grand Select Crystal Bay. Terrific value. We also did a Nile cruise which to be honest was awesome. Valley of the Kings etc
