24/6/2016 09:43 | EJ - Look at Arm Holdings then, up on the day and perhaps think again before using the word nonsense. | churchtower
24/6/2016 09:18 | After this savage and cynical mark down slow appreciation emerging that Brexit and the state of the currency markets will actually benefit Laird. CH. | churchtower
15/6/2016 20:43 | I got out today, the risks are far to great. I can see this heading back to £2.83. I'm going to wait till after the result to get back in to this or another stock. I fancy Standard Life. Good luck to all holders. | philipmidgley
03/6/2016 15:39 | Can someone tell me what's going on? | philipmidgley
23/5/2016 19:48 | Strong rise on good volume closing on a high. Cannot agree that it will need a bid to take it to above 400p again. Just be patient PM you are looking at a £5 share in 18 months time. CH. | churchtower
23/5/2016 16:59 | A good rise today but it's been disappointing for a number of weeks. The only hope of £4.00 again is if someone comes in for it. | philipmidgley
23/5/2016 08:52 | XD in two weeks time, so with a 8.6p dividend coupled with the potential growth/takeover possibilities this in my opinion is an attractive proposition. CH. | churchtower
28/4/2016 20:14 | Last year's Q1 update on 8th May 2015 produced a 32p rise from 356.60 to 388.72. | churchtower
28/4/2016 18:32 | t/s tomorrow confirmed on website | wynmck
26/4/2016 15:37 | Looking to buy more around 340 if it goes there... | bared_bones
26/4/2016 15:16 | AGM scheduled for this Friday. May include a Q1 trading update. Presently market seems occupied solely on slowing mobile phone sales and ignoring Laird's diversification in other markets particularly telematics which are said to be going from strength to strength. CH. | churchtower
19/4/2016 18:43 | Like yesterday, Apple reducing iPhone production. | grahamburn
19/4/2016 16:01 | Any ideas why the drop today? MM playing games? | philipmidgley
13/4/2016 16:14 | PM - as one of my annual assessment reports stated " I cannot imagine anyone following this man except out of idle curiosity" you would be well advised to trust your own judgement. CH. | churchtower
13/4/2016 15:11 | Well I kept faith. Let's hope you're right CH. | philipmidgley
13/4/2016 14:59 | Something afoot? Need to break and hold above 380. CH. | churchtower
08/4/2016 09:31 | It seems that the most important present involvement in Telematics is being forgotten with the acquisition of Novero and LSR which enhances considerably the automotive connectivity side of the business which was described in the recent trading update as 'going from strength to strength'. The simplification of sites and offices will also undoubtedly make the Company more efficient. Additionally as mentioned in a recent post CEO David Lockwood stated "We enter 2016 confident in our outlook. This confidence is underpinned by an increasingly well diversified mix of technologies, customers and end markets. While internally we are in our best position for several years." I cannot imagine why with the 3.5% dividend yield I should want to sell now when there remains so much potential. I would urge those contemplating selling to just have a little patience. I have noticed no Institutional selling which might change my view. CH. | churchtower
07/4/2016 15:23 | Time will tell but as I am taking a two to three year view coupled with the current dividend yield of 3.514% I am content to maintain my position. CH. | churchtower
07/4/2016 13:53 | Hi pm I was a tad underwhelmed by the CFO but he is a new hire from last year; hxxp://www.laird-plc I sold out recently as I felt there was a degree of execution risk to the restructure and I didn't like the weakish balance sheet in the context of the c.40m mostly cash cost of the restructure. I love the product areas they're now in but the price looks well up with events. I was also reminded that most site reductions release cash as surplus freeholds are sold but here the cupboard is relatively bare as there've been so many restructuring initiatives over the last decades. I may be back but £3.80 was a £1 per share plus dividends profit for me and felt right to take it. | rhomboid |
