A delegation of investors, led by the South African businessman, Patrice Motsepe, was received in audience on April 25, in Pointe-Noire, by President Denis Sassou N'Guesso. The two parties discussed the evolution of the phosphate investment project to be carried out in Congo.

“We came to give more information about the work we are doing in the framework of the project we have in Congo. The idea is to inform the president about the quality of Congolese phosphate and its development. We are going to bring 600 million dollars in terms of investment for this phosphate project. Also, we will come back very quickly because we want this pilot project to progress quickly so that we can move forward at the right pace in this one, "said Patrice Motsepe, after the audience with President Denis Sassou N'Guesso.

According to the South African businessman, the key ambition is to keep the bet so that the project is realized as quickly as possible. “We will very quickly come back to report to the president and the minister as the project evolves. Our presence in Pointe-Noire is also an opportunity for us to see the magnificent project that has been launched between the Congolese government and Eni to know that our project will buy part of the energy electricity,” he added. .

Patrice Motsepe is the founder of the African Rainbow Minerals company and at the same time the executive chairman.

If we do get positive confirmation on Hinda project, this could triple for starters in no time. Still be cheap then..

The total debt facilities are in the region of $50-60mm (I haven't done the interest calcs) and the second loan of ZAR 550mm ($31mm) is convertible at 4.579p so I guess depending on where the share price goes will dictate whether that's repaid or converted.

It's the ramp up of production that caught my eye. Was 10k tonnes in March and now 43k tonnes in April so hopefully it continues rising. The revenue generated will hopefully remove the need for funding soon but without cash figures it's very hard to know as you say.

Given the shares are at an all time low I think everyone is down here - but maybe we will see movement soon. Perhaps further details required first.

Seems like a ludicrous market cap although I guess we are riddled with debt now?
Spot rock phosphate is 345USD per tonne.
We know they've been selling at a discount so even half of that price could be revenue of $7.5m.
Would be nice to know more. Anyhow, I'm down to such an extent I've tucked this away and forgotten about it.

Sales volumes picking up. 43k tonnes even at a discount to market price is a fair chunk of change and hopefully indicates some further issues being resolved.

Market cap of <£20mm here suggests upside to me at least.
