You wonder how long they can keep funding them, currently all KRPZ are doing is mining cash from others:))

Life is not that bad greenelf, smile.

Correct, it absolutely does not look good at all, as I explained to you months ago. Heading to the wall, but you arrogantly thought you were so smart and knew everything.

Paps, this guy doesn't want to listen:)) I explained that I had a contact in SA who is in the fertilizer business and was very negative about KRPZ, greenelf ignored it and started spouting nonsense threats. Look at him now, lol.

The Count of Monte_Cristo22 May '23 - 10:39 - 297 of 339 Edit

"The peeps who were burned in years gone by cannot get past it when circumstances change".

If you had bothered to have read back through the posts you would have seen I have been quite successful here:)

"And a final note related to "Pur". Elandsfontein is an open pit mine in the mostly sunny Cape. It is not an underground mine which would have far higher risk and for countries such as Canada with extreme winters".

Lol, so is this why they hugely messed up the mine and after years of trying are still producing pitiful amounts? Have you contacted any local suppliers in SA to see if they have received product for sale from Kropz? Might be worth your rampy efforts.

a. I can't be bothered.
b. No new facts presented, yawn
c. 43ktpa April..very pitiful, sure, and in upward trend. Nobody disputes this has history.
d. Putting together an investment case, call it rampy if you will. Your mutterings are thus also correspondingly deramping!
d. Smile mate :-) , life is not that bad.

Unfortunately my post on Monday was correct, greenelf. "You're throwing your money away by investing in KRPZ"

And down the share price goes following the bad news RNS issued after the market closed on Friday. That's a favourite time for companies to issue a bad news RNS! 🤣
I'm afraid you're throwing your money away by investing in KRPZ, greenelf.

Well potentially good news but until Kropz say anything about it - well it's jam tomorrow.

Separately ARC recently (9th June) put out their investor update which had some commentary on their investment here. Nothing really new however it appears that the Hinda project may be under the magnifying glass. Would be nice to hear an update from KRPZ themselves on it when it's available.

Hi greenelf,

Yes. First solid building block.

Also, maybe, a sign of shared Gulf interest in committing to the area...and an opportunity for 80 year old Nguesso to rehabilitate himself.

Can't do DSN junior's prospects any harm, either.

Anyway, suffice to say that I've taken punt-sized positions in KP2 (Omani/Chilean connection) and in KRPZ (S.African link) on the 'momentum investment' principle that a rising tide lifts all boats...

Hi greenelf,

I'm interested in another Congo project, so keen to see any movement/possible read-across.
Unfortunately, the article you quote doesn't help your case :

.."The related mining agreement was signed in 2018 with the Congolese authorities..."
and

.."COMINCO is in fact at the stage of the definitive feasibility study, the report of which will be submitted to the government with a view to obtaining a license..."

This is a long, long way from shovels in the ground, IMO.

The fact that the broker hasn't acknowledged Motsepe's meeting with Nguesso should give pause for thought.

And saying that "Our presence in Pointe-Noire is also an opportunity for us to see the magnificent project that has been launched between the Congolese government and Eni to know that our project will buy part of the energy electricity,” somewhat unhelpfully draws attention to the slow-mo implosion of S Africa's own critical infrastructure, which may well end up frustrating Elandsfontein's welcome but recent production increases...

The ownership diagram provided is helpful at explaining the relationships between the 2 x projects and KRPZ, but doesn't say anything about the ownership of KRPZ itself. Stockopedia (maybe not the most up-to-date source?) says the free float is only about 9% : if true, that's great for trading at the margin, maybe * , but very vulnerable to a squeeze-out if the main owner decides he can make more money taking it private...

* which is perhaps the safest way to play it ?

See Teddy Sagi/ Kape Technologies (KAPE) and Aggarwal/ iEnergizer (IBPO) for examples of recent shaftings.

I've been in ZIOC for at least 5 years, maybe you'll understand my caution...;->

Zak talking about KRPZ.

I emailed Zak, three times, back when KRPZ was sitting at 5p asking him to try and do some interviews with the team at KRPZ. He never replied. I even cc'd in the media guy from KRPZ who was up for the interview and Zak never replied.

With KRPZ my thinking is to rebuy in the late summer, when all the hype has died down. My contact in South Africa tells me that none of the buyers he knows have been contacted by KRPZ. Remember KRPZ are selling into the local market, so perhaps the RNS was more to keep the market happy as they have told the market about their timelines. The rise is due to speculators buying in but who aren't really understanding about the fundamentals of the company and that they are actually behind schedule. IMHO.
