Yes RBD are indeed currently illiquid but that could all change soon.

Remember that KOD were once illiquid too and then things changed for the better as all of us KODers now know!

EDIT: anyway just posted out of interest so if interested best to get over to the RBD thread as this is quite rightly of course the KOD thread.

* Demand for lithium is estimated to double in next 7 years. Lithium could become the primary source of transportation fuel. Mighty WALL STREET firm GOLDMAN SACHS believe ”lithium is the new gasoline.”

Would expect further drilling results within the next few days .
Think we will get formal confirmation from Chinese by the end of next week latest.

Once that's confirmed, we should have 0.38 as a base at the very least.

Another new entrant to the LITHIUM market place - AIM listed RBD [see RNS]

Jeremy Edelman, Reabold's Chairman, commented.

"With the current dynamics surrounding the fast growing European lithium market, the Company sees tremendous opportunity in this rapidly developing San Jose Lithium-Tin Project together with the Project's development partners as they continue to add quantum steps of value to the project through their experienced personnel and professional operational skills. We see the San Jose Lithium-Tin Project as a potential company making investment going forward. The Company and Plymouth Minerals Limited, the majority owners of Tonsley, will be discussing future opportunities between them on ways to co-operate on potentially increasing Reabold's corporate and operational involvement in this exciting San Jose Lithium-Tin project."

donald, just back from a trade show and have witnessed the potencial of graphene and believe me the yellow perils are ahead of the western world.for example helium is in short supply and prices are rocketing excuse the pun lol but china will be mining on the moon to exstract the gas, whilst on aim, hellium "hnr" will se the share price rocket.
imn invested in kodal for the lithiun, plus my other investments to support the battery boom......

graphene enduced with ink....printed circuit boards capacitators ect.....graphene enduced in paint charging electric vechicles plus solar paint sprayed on concrete....window film with graphene filters with graphene to turn salt water into drinking water, the technology of tomorrows world.....dyor

yes i agree cobalt shortfall will trend higher price for the short fall in materials to keep the production lines going.but the markets of the future, will be graphene dyor

two cobalt miners on aim " KRS "....."OTC "....as we all know on average a mine takes 3 yrs plus to come into production and are located in a unstable enviroment.

I guess that's why cobalt has risen from around $33k/tn to around $56k/tn this year. :)

Robert,

Then you won't have any problems listing some of these companies that are averaging grades of 4-6.6% at surface lithium, I'm sure many would like to see your examples and how KOD's market cap compares to those companies. The Japanese are all over BCN and their grades are 0.4-0.7% lith, our grades are up to 2.2% with surface outcropping as demonstrated by the high grade trenching. PREM for example describes their Zulu development in Zimbabwe as world class, their grades aren't particularly much higher than KOD's. KOD's cap is currently lower and they've already part of the offtake agreement in place for 20% potentially rising to 100%. KOD now have four lithium discoveries on their Mali licence, all good/high grade and a remarkably low cap. So its really no surprise that the the Chinese are interested in this low mica source of lithium at surface. It'll be a relatively low cost start-up when the time comes in a very robust lith market. It and cobalt are very hot right now as you'll know from your experience with the sector.

Regards,
Ed.

Big article in the business section of The Times today about the use of lithium batteries at UK power stations to manage and control supply to homes in the future.

"Power shift brings energy market closer to holy grail Giant batteries are helping to guarantee an electricity supply when it is most needed Emily Gosden, Energy Editor April 17 2017, 12:01am, The Times"

Why the same post 23 minutes later bookwormrobert? As i have mentioned to you before on the EMH thread both EMH and KOD are in the LITHIUM business but apart from that they are two very different investment stories.
