There is a longer term opportunity here, however currently you have weak France
which comprises the bulk of profits, a weakening Euro which impacts the P&L,
a big currency hit on Russia.

The upside is the UK and hopefully reduced losses in China.

All imv only.

Buy backs have no effect on share price, particularly when it's only 200k a day!

The SHARE buyback does not have any effect on SHARE price it is just bobbing around the 340p Mark going nowhere

Not sure whether they would admit it, still if there is a time now could be it, Veronique Laury starting to improve the performance here I hope, we just need a pick up in France to get these really motoring!

Home Depot, for one, fantastic brands in KGF, we may be waiting but current mkt cap. for HD.US is $145bln., so a drop in the ocean for them!

u could wait a long time, i would think it would take in the excess of $12bln to get this company and who has that to spare

Still waiting for that bid from either Loew's or Home Depot, clock must be ticking , all those lovely foreign earnings, looks like the 50 DMA going to cross the 200 imminently, a bullish sign!

Fair observations indeed. Of course one could argue that from an investors point of view all these areas of "room for improvement" will make nice impacts on the EPS once sorted...

...if and when sorted..

...if sorted.

Anyway enough of that, what about the chart?

That is a breakout if I am not mistaken and thus we must be bullish.

This might even be a bowl?

In any event I think £4 might be on the cards.

It may be worth looking at the director deals IMV.

There is also exposure to Russia, Poland is one of their main growth markets.

Longer term this is a great company IMV and one of the US giants may come knocking
at some point.

At last there is some better news on their China business

Euro exposure to French economy is a double whammy

Some big currency moves today
Swiss currency up 13% against Euro

EURUSD down 1.5%
EURJPY down 2.1%

Something snapped with the Euro today. The swiss move suggests something very significant is going to happen with the Euro and the markets are sniffing blood

EURGBP down 1.2% possible target 70 which would knock 10% off Castorama's profits. Long term chart of EURGBP suggest 59-66 zone a possible currency target

If there is no currency hedging, shame as KGF seems to be a well run company

Pity they had not sold 100% of B&Q China as they will not benifit much wih only 30%,but it is cash,to help get the share price up IMHO just Poland to ditch and we should be in a better position money wise
