01/8/2019 09:54 | I remember when this RNS caused a 40% -50% rise in IRV (Interserve) share price Look familiar at all. Still went bust 6 months later. Be very careful on these RNS's, They are not audited figures, it is a desperate attempt to revive. Gravity resumes though: 13(th) November 2018 INTERSERVE PLC STATEMENT FOLLOWING RECENT PRESS COVERAGE Interserve notes recent press commentary surrounding the Group and the movement in its share price. Interserve confirms that the implementation of the Group's strategy and the Fit for Growth transformation programme remains on track and the Group continues to expect a significant operating profit improvement in 2018, in line with management's expectations. | wallywoo
01/8/2019 09:53 | 89p paid for 22,350 lot. Looks as though the uplift will soon run over into the 90's. f | fillipe
01/8/2019 09:53 | Looking like a re rate on thr cards. 500p sounds about right here | letmepass
01/8/2019 09:52 | This is nothing but a RELIEF RALLY, looks like things are not terminal until late September or so. Share is in a trading range 70 - 100. I don't see a breakout until Kier Living is sold. However how saleable is a business that makes £16m on 2000 houses built??? Others might see that as a bad bet and more of a liability than an asset. | ltcm1
01/8/2019 09:50 | L2 - bid/ask - 295k v 122k. Bests on show 87.35p v 88.95p Bring on the £1. f | fillipe

01/8/2019 09:47 | Every share in a terminal down trend has a few up days Stdy 1 or 2 up days does not a full recovery make | wallywoo
01/8/2019 09:45 | TO EVERYONE 'SURPRISED' BY THE RISE IN THE SP: the share price was sinking on lack of news and everyone imagining the worst, and shorts driving it down. Now we have news. Debt is not spiralling out of control. Revenue is almost the same as last yr. The company is not bust. It's not right for a major business to be valued at one year's earnings. Can you ALL understand that? | stdyeddy
01/8/2019 09:44 | shorts may start closing, adding to squeeze IMO. Priced to go bust, doesn't look like it will IMO...DYOR | qs99
01/8/2019 09:44 | ITCM1 I beg to differ The share price is up 40% - I am sure that is frightening some of the amateur shorters. Fundamentally I agree with you. The violent drops and violent rises are both fake. As long as Kier Living stays in the shared housing space, it doesn't need a lot of capital. If it tries to build and sell in to the open market, it doesn't have the $$ I am assuming the weakness around GFRD is because they expect Galliford to buy Kier Living | marksp2011

01/8/2019 09:42 | Nice to see everyone so bullish here now, however on pretty much all contracts there are add-ons, etc, like sort of snagging in a house. Almost all contracts have some sort of payback, until you see the the results that will not be apparent. Still, this has been open season for shorters here, and the bounce reflected today on some pretty innocuous news! | bookbroker

01/8/2019 09:37 | C'mon guys - the RNS says payments have got faster by a week, you are celebrating like they have got some huge profit upgrade!!! Davies said on YouTube they don't have the funds to invest in Kier Living and the property arm. They only have plots for two and a half years at 2000 houses a year, Kier Living will start to look terminal in a few months if they don't re-invest. Plus there is the working capital tied up in build outs. Nothing has changed - NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!! | ltcm1
01/8/2019 09:37 | you cant even buy on IG ...... rocket time!! | sharemaster24
01/8/2019 09:37 | Ltcm1 It will be interesting to see the share price at the close. Re the property, it was reported that some was sold off very quickly hence the debt figure. Construction News headline “Kier unveils new CFO amid fresh profit warning” | brexitplus
01/8/2019 09:36 | Wally, yesterday you said you made a lot of money being short kier, today you lost double. | monkey58
01/8/2019 09:35 | I would love to know how many unique posters there are on this thread | marksp2011
01/8/2019 09:33 | Should see this over 100p today | letmepass
01/8/2019 09:32 | This was a very straightforward binary situation - I and others have been saying it for weeks. The share price indicated that either Kier was bust or the market was irrational. Now we have the answer: Kier is not bust, debt is not spiralling out of control, revenue is good. The share price is responding. | stdyeddy
01/8/2019 09:30 | that was me | dealy |
