So Kibo now have in their hands the final report for Phase 1, Stage 1 pertaining to the Rukwa Coal to Power Project ("RCPP") Definitive Mining Feasibility Study. The report was expected by end of Nov and they have ensured this with yesterdays news. So well done on timing. The significant news from the report is the overall estimated profitability of the coal mining element SIGNIFICANTLY ahead of company expectiations: "We are also extremely pleased to confirm that the findings of the report, notably in respect of the anticipated deliverable margin per tonne, and overall estimated profitability of the coal mining element of the RCPP, are significantly ahead of the Company's earlier expectations." "As a result we can confidently say that the robustness and attractiveness of the coal mining element and the wider RCPP have been ratified and further enhanced with the findings of this report." Kibo are currently examining the report in detail and preparing an update for shareholders that will include an operational project summary and key financial data. "We are looking to expedite this review and anticipate releasing this update very shortly." I would say they received this report last week and are nearing completion of the summary of the report. Expect this to land in the next few days I would say. Exciting time to be in as this report will really give this a boost to the current mcap and if the figures are good we will easily double up from this level if not more (depends on the figures). Happy to be in and added my 3rd tranche just now. Reminds me of WRN prior to suspension with announcement of good news and giving a nice indication of newsflow to come. Impressed.

I think the MM's are being a little mean in not taking this back above 3p today so far. I am sure it's not because they know news is on the way and they require a lot of shares prior to that! ;)

What we do know is that the disastrous shareholder dilution is at an end, and once it is confirmed by one of the JV's all bets will be off as to how high the share price goes.

Realistically Kibo have 13 more trading days to release at least 2 or possibly 3 significant news events before the holiday season kicks in.

I agree with a fellow poster the NPV on the Imweru gold project could equate to circa $80m-$100m. More important production will be fast tracked to a point where Kibo has said it will fund all of the companies other projects moving forward.

Have they sourced a new JV partner at Haneti and why did the CEO suggest recently this could be spun out of Kibo and listed separately. Was this a clue to upcoming events?

Put simply the market value of the company is far too low.

5p looks like chart resistance on the next news, if the share price can consolidate around these levels? Even at 5p = 12M cap it doesn't seem expensive IMO.NAI

Wel it's not rocket science they were in possession of report at weekend let us know yesterday. Won't take long to go over report and summarise for an rns. That's whybi think tomorrow or even today

With so much news due in a very short space of time on many fronts, it would be foolish to sell in the hope/expectation that the price might drop back. For this reason, I don't think the price will drop at all, and I'll bet Louis and the directors are working flat out to get the next news to market. They have a fantastic window of opportunity at the moment , when you read all the doom and gloom that is about, to get well and truly on the radar.

We have been told the news is coming, don't sell your shares too cheaply. I can't think of another share at the moment that has the potential to offer the level of return that will be achieved over the next few weeks than here.

Quite a few, and it could be the same with 3p. It doesn't matter if you're not planning to sell.

The market needs to see definitive figures, not 'we have the report'. LC's history to date hasn't been impressive in terms of bringing anything to a close, his greatest successes have been placings so as soon as the report has been finalised and published, the market may then start believing. We are n the right track WE are confident, that confidence needs proving up, that's all! Hopefully within the next week or so that will be achieved!
